The Dog League: Week 10 Review(2018 Season)

The Streak................................is over. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Game 1: Tug of War(130.8) vs Bark Force(116.56)

ANALYSIS

There were solid contributions at the top level for Tug of War this week, with Matt Ryan(20.5 points) and Alvin Kamara(22.2 points) doing exactly what was expected of them. What was not expected was the performance of Zach Ertz(26.5 points) who led the team in scoring, pouring it on on Sunday night to basically get the win. The star for Bark Force this week was Aaron Jones(29.2 points), but another poor performance from Mike Evans(5.1 points) is cause for concern.

Game 2: Rare Woofs(119.54) vs Tailwaggerz(106.92)

ANALYSIS

In the end, the seven game winning streak of Tailwaggerz came to an end in underwhelming fashion, as Rare Woofs took the lead early and never wavered. The trio of Andrew Luck(21.2 points), Leonard Fournette(22.9 points) and Todd Gurley(22 points) led the surging Rare Woofs to their third win in the past four games, and sent them into a playoff spot. Only David Johnson(30.3 points) showed up in a disappointing loss for Tailwaggerz that now narrows their lead to only one game atop the standings.

Game 3: Leaping Girl(128.84) vs Ridiculous Rascals(153)

ANALYSIS

How are you supposed to compete with Drew Brees(28.9 points), Melvin Gordon(22.5 points), Christian McCaffrey(31.8 points) and Tyreek Hill(25.7 points) all at their best? Answer, you can't, as Emma found out this week. Rascal heads into the final four games of the season with a huge amount of momentum and a clean sweep over his sister. Leaping Girl did have some great performances from Russell Wilson(26.24 points), Ezekiel Elliott(30.7 points) and Nick Chubb(32.9 points) this week. However, she also had terrible games from James White(2.6 points) and the Jets defense(-3 points), resulting in a wildly uneven loss.

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Latest Update on new puppy

As you may well know from my mom's posts, there is a handsome puppy in the house. His name is Rascal, which appropriately fits him. Before Tuesday, he'd never had much problem with the crate, something I found interesting. He'd also never experienced anxiety issues when people came and left. Then yesterday, my dad and I were standing in the driveway organizing things for a trip to Goodwill. All of a sudden, Rascal freaked out. Some history behind the newest member of our family. Rascal was a stray in Hollister, when CARE, a rescue organization, found him. At this time Rascal was estimated to be about 2 months old, the age of a puppy when you first get them. He went to another family, who had him for quite a while, around 5 months. Then, without explanation, this family moved to Ohio, surrendering Rascal. CARE once again had him and his crazy antics for about a month. Rascal's name was changed to Boots in his time with CARE, but he wouldn't answer to that name. He ...
