TJ Perkins vs Brian Kendrick- Cruiserweight Classic Group A Match

This was definitely the best match of the Cruiserweight Classic thus far, as these two men just beat the hell out of each other. The veteran Kendrick slowed down the younger Perkins in the early going, controlling the pace of the match. Kendrick's best offense just wasn't enough, as TJ kicked out of the Sliced Bread #2, and fought his way out of the Bully Choke. Suplex variations scored a series of near falls for TJ, including a beautiful bridging Northen Lights suplex. Perkins locked in the TJP Clutch, but as he hadn't worked the legs, Kendrick fought out of the deadly hold. A close near fall for Kendrick off a Shooting Star Press left the veteran frustrated. He made his first mistake, letting Perkins recover, and also his last, as TJ lifting him up and knocked his lights out with the Detonation Kick. TJ Perkins got his first three points of the group, and Kendrick was forced to regroup.

Winner: TJ Perkins

The Dudley Boyz vs Prime Time Players

Two teams looking for momentum collided in this tag team match, that ended up being a relatively short-lived affair. Darren and Titus, former tag team champions, controlled the early going, using their combined skill set. A rake to the eyes by Bubba turned the match in his team's favor. D-Von connected on a big neckbreaker on Titus, which was followed up with a 3-D as the Dudley Boyz picked up the win on Main Event.

Winners: The Dudley Boyz

Kota Ibushi vs Noam Dar- Cruiserweight Classic Group A Match

The Golden Star was looking for his second win of the Classic, and was dominant right out of the gate, out-pacing Noam Dar. The Scottish youngster just seemed out of his element, and it showed. Ibushi scored a few near falls before Dar could get into, but Dar refused to concede defeat. He took the fight to Ibushi on the outside of the ring, grounding the Japanese cruiserweight and wearing him down. Dar connected on a Fisherman Suplex and looked for his kneebar, but Ibushi countered the move. This set off a series of counters, each man trying to out do the other. Ibushi came out of top in the exchange, before climbing to the top rope to deliver a Phoenix Splash, taking another win and a commanding lead in Group A.

Winner: Kota Ibushi

Cruiserweight Classic Standings:

Group A

Kota Ibushi- 6 points
Brian Kendrick- 3 points
TJ Perkins- 3 points
Noam Dar- 0 points

American Dad "Twinanigans" Review

It's been a while since the last Steve and Roger episode, and this week reminded me why that's such a classic American Dad pairing. This is a genuinely fun episode, filled with some great one liners and even a great callback to the show's past. "Twinanigans" centers around the heretofore unmentioned acting careers of Roger and Steve, who twinned it up as the Smith Brothers. I'm not going to question whether this backstory actually makes sense to the overall timeline; no one watches American Dad for continuity. Steve had to give up acting to attend kindergarten, and wants to give Roger a second chance at greatness. The two head to auditions, where Steve impresses and Roger blows it. It's here the episode kinda misfires, as it's never made abundantly clear why Roger struggles so much at acting. Is he just trying too hard, does he have some form of stage fright, does he not even know what acting is? This part of the story is just never explained, w...

Henry's Pay-Per-View Reviews: ECW Heatwave 1998

As the world collectively loses it's mind over the coronavirus(this could be a fun intro to look back on in the future), the only sanity that can be found is in the ring. Let's take a look today at what is often considered ECW's finest outing, Heatwave '98. - Jokes aside, everyone should stay safe out there. I know it's easy to panic about these mass outbreaks, and I've certainly felt very nervous about everything I've heard and read over the past week. But I think we all need some fun in our lives right now, and this show is the epitome of distraction. - The opening contest is one of the highlights of the night, as Jerry Lynn takes on Justin Credible. Credible has an entire entourage in his corner, including Chastity, Jason and Nicole Bass, and their involvement in this match at times bordered on excessive. But the match begins to hit it's peak when Lynn puts Credible through a table with a hurricanrana, and it's all fantastic from...

The Route of Life

dedicated to my hermits, who changed my life Ch 1 My Hermit crabs Hermit crabs are sometimes hard to take care of. Especially when you never had a hermit. Last Sunday afternoon I got 2 Hermit crabs. Their names are Crabbe and Goyle. I have talked with many sales people. The first Petco we went to (where we got the hermits and their things) seemed to have no idea on the subject. So we ended up going to Dolphin Pet Village. They were more experience at the subject. Now we have some of the things we will need. Last week, I went to a second Petco. There we got a cuttlebone, which is the bone of a fish. Now they look happy. Have a good day Hermit Crabs! Ch 2 Curious Crab The week before last week, my mom looked into my crabitat and found that one of my crabs had climbed one of my fake trees. It was on the top branch. Later, when I was changing to get ready for bed, the crab fell out of his branch. I hope he is okay. He’s definitely starting to look okay. How funny do you think that story is...
