Henry's Universe Mode #189: Battleground

For centuries, mankind has fought. Battles have been fought, wars have been waged. Wars over food, wars over land, wars over beliefs. But there are lines that few are willing to cross, the lines that signify the ultimate end of peace. Some are willing to cross; most never will. Tonight, those battle lines have been drawn once more. Factions will go to war, mutual enemies will engage in fights more personal than ever, with nothing more than pride and glory at stake. But who will be willing to cross the ultimate line, and who will be able to survive............the Battleground.

And now, SmackDown presents....................Battleground!

John Cena vs Kenny Omega

We kicked off the show in a big way, as John Cena went one on one with Kenny Omega. These two men put on a technical classic in our opening match, trading holds, big moves and counters. Omega constantly worked on the back of Cena, looking for one of his two big finishing moves. Cena beat him to the punch, connecting on an AA, but only for two. He looked for a second, but The Cleaner connected with elbows to the skull. He then hit a big jumping knee to the jaw and a deadlift german suplex for two. It was Cena that had the advantage in the closing moments, however, hitting a five knuckle shuffle and then locking in the STF for the victory, but Kenny Omega put up a hell of a fight.

Winner: John Cena

Bayley(c) vs Emma- SmackDown Women's Championship Match

These two women faced off for gold back in NXT, and did battle once more for the SmackDown Women's Championship. The story of this match was Emma's numerous attempts to stop the champion from getting out of the blocks. Her plan nearly blew up in her face when the Bayley to Belly connected, but Emma's veteran instincts allowed her to get her arm to the bottom rope. She hung tough, and hit the Michinoku Driver, defeating Bayley one more time.

Winner and the NEW SmackDown Women's Champion: Emma

Randy Orton(c) vs Baron Corbin- No Holds Barred for the Intercontinental Championship

Quickly, the fight was on, as both men threw down their gloves and began beating the hell out of each other. This was a brutal from two men who simply couldn't stand the other, with multiple weapons thrown in. For the most part, Baron Corbin was the aggressor, delivering lots of punishment including multiple chair shots and an End of Days onto the entrance ramp. He also chokeslammed Orton through the announce table, and would then deliver another End of Days onto a set of steel steps. Still, the Lone Wolf wasn't finished, and he rage would cost him. The Viper was only focused on winning, and survived long enough to hit a RKO for the win, although he paid the price in the form of a massive crimson mask.

Winner and still Intercontinental Champion: Randy Orton

The Culprit Was Revealed

Daniel Bryan then brought the Fashion Police, Tyler Breeze and Fandango, to the ring. He wasted no time, as he then aired the security footage from Money in the Bank on the Titantron. We saw Fandango in his locker room, when a man entered with a hammer, attacking the Ballroom Brawler from behind. Once he was finished, he turned and left, his face exposed to the camera. It was Tyler Breeze! We cut back to the ring, where Breeze seemed shocked, but strangely, Fandango was calm. He then took the mic. He had known from the very beginning the culprit of the attack; who do you think sent the footage to Bryan? For all these weeks, he had waited, hoping Tyler would come clean. But he never did, and now it was time for Deputy Dango to take matters into his own hands. He laid out Breeze with a big kick, and then challenged him to a match at Summerslam, where the Money in the Bank briefcase would be on the line.

Roman Reigns vs Cesaro- Loser Leaves SmackDown

You to have the feeling that there would be a massive amount of anxiety heading into this match on the part of Roman Reigns, who was fighting for the biggest opportunity of his career. Early on, he went on the attack, scoring some near falls off of power moves. Cesaro would return the favor with a series of uppercuts, and got a razor thin near fall off of an early Neutralizer. Reigns fought on with fervor, hitting a big Superman Punch and looking for the Spear. But it the biggest move of the match, the Swiss Superman would counter with a DDT. A dazed Reigns was tossed around the ring and finally finished off with the Neutralizer.

Afterward, Roman Reigns bade farewell to SmackDown Live. He shook the hand of Cesaro, and wished him luck at Summerslam.

Winner: Cesaro

The Wyatt Family vs The Club- Winner Take All for the WWE and SmackDown Tag Team Championships

It would be Styles and Wyatt, the two leaders, who started off the match, but AJ quickly tagged in Karl Anderson. Both units would then take turns connecting on tons of double team offense, as all six men got involved in the match multiple times. The Wyatts came close to the win when Bray and Luke Harper connected with a discus clothesline/Sister Abigail combo, but Gallows and Anderson saved their leader. The Club got a narrow near fall when they hit the Magic Killer on Harper, but Erick Rowan saved the day, taking out everyone with his power. In the end, it would be the winning mentality of the WWE Champion that was the difference, as AJ utilized an unseen chair shot and a roll-up to pin Wyatt. Control of the blue brand is now entirely in the corner of the Club, and surely no one can stop them now.

Winners and the NEW SmackDown Tag Team Champions and still WWE Champion: The Club

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
