Henry's Universe Mode #208: SmackDown Live

With No Mercy now just five days away, it's the last episode of Henry's Universe Mode before the pay-per-view. The blue brand's tag team champions, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, have not being seeing eye to eye lately it's fair to say. Tonight, they face former champions the Prime Time Players. One week after joining up with the Social Outcasts for a beatdown of Heath Slater, Aiden English looks to prove his worth as he host an open challenge. Who will step up to face the Maestro of Mayhem? Plus, in the main event, it's champions vs challengers as Randy Orton and AJ Styles team up to face Kenny Omega and John Cena.

Prime Time Players vs Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens

The tensions between the tag team champions would continue here tonight, and would put them in trouble quite a few times against Darren Young and Titus O'Neil. With Sami taking a lot of damage, Kevin would take control, wrestling most of the match by himself, occasionally dictating Zayn to do some dirty work. It may not be the greatest strategy in the world, but it worked, with Owens able to put Young away with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.

Winners: Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens

Gameplanning

We went backstage, where we saw Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson watching from a monitor as the champs exchanged an uneasy handshake. It's clear the challengers for this Sunday are looking for any weakness to exploit, but will it result it regaining the tag team titles?

Aiden English vs ???

Aiden English may not have been accompanied out by the Social Outcasts, but you had to know Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas were watching on backstage. What they witnessed was the SmackDown debut of the Man Beast, Rhyno! Although English was able to survive for a little while using his athletic ability, he failed to capitalize on a few chances and paid for it with a Gore.

Winner: Rhyno

Randy Orton and AJ Styles vs Kenny Omega and John Cena

There were plenty of moving pieces in this match, with all four men involved in championship matches at No Mercy. Early on, both challengers worked down Kenny Omega, with Orton using his precise strikes and Styles using his supreme high flying skills. The Cleaner was able to make the tag to John Cena, as the two men who faced off at Battleground were able to link up. Cena got things rolling against the Viper, and seemed to be closing in on a win when Styles started yelling at Cena from the apron. The distraction worked, as the WWE Champion was more concerned about his opponent on Sunday then the match. Orton struck with the RKO, but incredibly, the champ got the shoulder up! The two champions then worked together to turn the tide, with Omega raising the stakes with a suicide dive to Styles. Cena got Orton up and delivered the AA for the three count, as a dazed AJ was once again too late to break up the pin.

Winners: Kenny Omega and John Cena

Same Old Story

After the match, a frustrated Orton took out Omega with a RKO and vacated the ring in disgust. This left champion and challenger in the ring by themselves. Cena and Styles stared down in the middle of the ring, when Gallows and Anderson hopped the barricades. The Leader of the Cenation saw the attack coming, but his pride wouldn't let him back down from a fight. He did his best, but the odds were never in his favor. All three men battered the WWE Champion, finished off with a Styles Clash as the show closed.

Quick note: as mentioned in the intro, this is the last show before No Mercy, meaning no new episode of NXT until after the pay-per-view. I won't a rundown of the card here; you should understand why in a few days.

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
