The Dog League: Week 9 Preview(2017 Season)

You can find the Week 8 Review here. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Leaping Girl

Current Record: (2-6, 4th place)

Leaping Girl had a great chance to steal a win this past week, carrying an above 40 point lead into Monday night. Ultimately, she gave it up, but it was promising signs from a team that could desperately use them. This week, Emma will make no waiver moves, but she did make some line-up changes. Deshaun Watson and teammate DeAndre Hopkins, along with DeMarco Murray all return, in exchange for Drew Brees, Chris Hogan and Doug Martin, respectively. She will also play her Jaguars defense this week.

UPDATE: With the news that Deshaun Watson is out for the season with a torn ACL, Emma has been given the chance to activate Option C. However, she has passed, and will bring in Carson Wentz to be the backup QB, while Drew Brees takes the starting spot.

Week 9 Starting Line-Up(vs Tailwaggerz)

RB LeSean McCoy
RB DeMarco Murray

Tailwaggerz

Current Record: (3-5, 3rd place)

With three players on bye this week(Tom Brady, Le'Veon Bell and Jordan Howard), there were moves to be made for the Tailwaggerz. They brought in Alex Smith for Kirk Cousins, Adrian Peterson for Frank Gore and exchanged on-bye Stephen Gostkowski for Saints kicker Wil Lutz. They also decided that Lamar Miller would be a starter this week, choosing him over C.J. Anderson, who will play their own defense.

UPDATE: With Zach Ertz now inactive(what a week, man), Tailwaggerz has dropped Jordy Nelson and added Evan Engram.

Tug of War

Current Record: (5-3, 2nd place)

Reinforcements come in for Tug of War in their big clash against first-place Ridiculous Rascals, as Todd Gurley and Leonard Fournette both return from their bye weeks. Gurley subs in for Devonta Freeman, while Fournette takes the spot of A.J. Green. The team also made two waiver moves, as the Vikings defense left for the Cardinals unit, while the injured Jordan Reed was dropped for Will Fuller, who starts in the place of Antonio Brown, who is on bye. In addition, Russell Wilson will start this week over Matt Ryan.

UPDATE: With Deshaun Watson's injury, Will Fuller has been benched for A.J. Green. Also, with Leonard Fournette surprisingly missing out on the game, Devonta Freeman will start this week.

QB Russell Wilson

RB Kareem Hunt
WR A.J. Green
WR Julio Jones
TE Travis Kelce
RB Devonta Freeman

Ridiculous Rascals

Current Record: (6-2, 1st place)

They may be on a four game winning streak and sitting atop the league, but there is trouble in paradise for the Ridiculous Rascals. To start off with, they brought in Aaron Jones, Golden Tate and Amari Cooper to fill starting roles, letting go of Christian McCaffery, Pierre Garcon and Demaryius Thomas. They then brought Cameron Brate into the starting line-up for the unavailable Rob Gronkowski. It wasn't over there, as with Kai Forbath on bye, Jay Ajayi was dropped for Bucs kicker Patrick Murray, while the Saints defense were let go in favor of the Texans unit. A busy, busy week for the Ridiculous Rascals.

UPDATE: With Ezekiel Elliott granted a stay from his suspension, Golden Tate has been benched this week.

Week 9 Starting Line-Up(vs Tug of War)

QB Dak Prescott
RB Mark Ingram
RB Ezekiel Elliott
WR Amari Cooper
WR Tyreek Hill
TE Cameron Brate
RB Aaron Jones

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

The 2017 WWE Draft begins..........right now! Pick #1- SmackDown selects Brock Lesnar What a way to start of the draft, as the Beast Incarnate in heading to Tuesday Nights. Since losing to Samoa Joe a few weeks ago on Raw, we haven't seen anything from Brock Lesnar. This move will certainly have most of the SmackDown roster looking over their shoulder. ...

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...
