An Update on The Rebuild

So, some of you may have seen the first episode of the Rebuild, which went up on Thursday, October 26th. Link here if you haven't read it yet. In that post, I covered the first four games of the season. Since then, there have been quite a few Henry's Universe Mode posts(including one today) and nothing of this series, despite the fact that my original goal was to rotate them both. I'm here today to explain why this hasn't happened and what the future of the series is.

As mentioned, the original plan was to rotate Henry's Universe Mode with The Rebuild, which, when combined with my South Park reviews, Dog League coverage and WWE pay-per-view previews/reviews, should form a nice variety of content. However, I underestimated how much time each post of the series might take. To shatter kayfabe, I began work on the first episode of The Rebuild about two weeks before it actually went live. It took me that amount of time to play the games, edit the content and get the thing out. That's obscene for what was supposed to be a very easy side series. I also just didn't enjoy making that content at all, partly due to the time it took but also just a straight lack of interest. I'm unsure what the fix for this problem actually is, but I do have an idea.

I have literally no clue when the second episode of The Rebuild is coming, but it will be the end of Season 1. You read it right- the end of Season 1. The plan moving forward is to make two posts for each season in the series, for as long as it last: the first will be the entire season, with a written summary, and the second will be the offseason in its entirety. Now, I don't know at all how long it will take me to play these games and write the end of season summary, but I do know that it will be quicker than what I was doing before. Hopefully, the more streamlined progression will also pique my interest, as I love long running series.

So that's that then. I'll let you know when the next episode of The Rebuild is close to completion, but don't expect it anytime soon. Until then, check out my other content and I'll see you next time.

Latest Update on new puppy

As you may well know from my mom's posts, there is a handsome puppy in the house. His name is Rascal, which appropriately fits him. Before Tuesday, he'd never had much problem with the crate, something I found interesting. He'd also never experienced anxiety issues when people came and left. Then yesterday, my dad and I were standing in the driveway organizing things for a trip to Goodwill. All of a sudden, Rascal freaked out. Some history behind the newest member of our family. Rascal was a stray in Hollister, when CARE, a rescue organization, found him. At this time Rascal was estimated to be about 2 months old, the age of a puppy when you first get them. He went to another family, who had him for quite a while, around 5 months. Then, without explanation, this family moved to Ohio, surrendering Rascal. CARE once again had him and his crazy antics for about a month. Rascal's name was changed to Boots in his time with CARE, but he wouldn't answer to that name. He ...

Rules -Each brand will have five draft picks, ten picks total. -Champions are not eligible to be drafted. -Tag teams/stables can be drafted as a unit or individuals, depending on what the GM wants and what the wrestler wants. -Thanks to winning Brand Warfare, SmackDown will get the first pick, while Raw will get the last pick. The 2017 WWE Draft begins..........right now! Pick #1- SmackDown selects Brock Lesnar What a way to start of the draft, as the Beast Incarnate in heading to Tuesday Nights. Since losing to Samoa Joe a few weeks ago on Raw, we haven't seen anything from Brock Lesnar. This move will certainly have most of the SmackDown roster looking over their shoulder. ...

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
