Bobby Lashley vs Braun Strowman- Steel Cage Match

From the start, Braun Strowman let his rage be known, as Bobby Lashley was absolutely punished in this match. Not only was the Monster Among Men dominant, he took pleasure in the carnage, tossing Lashley into the cell wall over and over again, as the steel began to weaken. Lashley was sent face first into the steel, and then ate a running powerslam, as the Dominator's demise beckoned. But instead, Strowman sent a statement, lifting Lashley up and putting him right through the cell with a big powerslam! Strowman casually walked out of the cage, finally on the path to the Universal Championship.

Winner: Braun Strowman

Jason Jordan(c) vs Shelton Benjamin- United States Championship Match

Knowing he couldn't outwrestle the young champion, Shelton Benjamin was very aggressive in this match, using more of his strikes than normal. But Jason Jordan played the stamina game, wearing out his challenger on the mat before seizing the opening to hit a Jordan Slam and retain his title.

Winner and still United States Champion: Jason Jordan

Paige vs Shayna Baszler

Paige brought a level of physicality to this match we've never seen her have before, as the Anti-Diva was desperate for the win. Unfortunately, Shayna Baszler took her apart piece by piece, before locking in the Kirifuda Choke to quickly force a tap out.

Winner: Shayna Baszler

Johnny Gargano vs Lio Rush vs Pete Dunne

It was Lio Rush that impressed the most in this match, as Raw's newest signee was all over the place. Twice, Rush almost got the win, hitting a Frog Splash on Johnny Gargano and a Tornado spin kick on Pete Dunne, but both times the pins were broke up. Rush began to lose his cool, as the Man of the Hour let frustration get the better of him. The Bruiserweight capitalized, sending Johnny Wrestling to the floor and hitting Rush with the Bitter End to book his place at Summerslam.

Winner: Pete Dunne

The Revival(c) vs Lucha House Party- Raw Tag Team Championship Match

Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder were not going to let their previous mistake haunt them, grounding the high fliers and putting Gran Metalik away with the Shatter Machine.

Winners and still Raw Tag Team Champions: The Revival

Becky Lynch(c) vs Ruby Riott- Raw Women's Championship Match

Ruby Riott nearly pulled off a stunning win early into the match, but Becky Lynch barely kicked out of the Riott Kick. The champion did everything she could to attack the arm, and Riott seemed to have no answer. The focused attack paid off, as Lynch was able to get the submission with the Dis-arm-her.

Winner and still Raw Women's Champion: Becky Lynch

Post-Match

Ruby Riott was not about to take this loss, plus the attacks on her Riott Squad, go this easily, and moments after the bell rang, she went right back after Becky Lynch. She laid out the champion with another Riott Kick, and looked to do more damage when a new theme song began to play. From the back, a woman with a look of pure intensity stared down at the ring...

That's Ronda Rousey! The Baddest Woman on the Planet charged, and Riott quickly ran for cover, as Rousey helped Lynch to her feet.... and then locked in her own armbar! A resilient Lynch refused to tap, as Rousey wrenched away at the hold, nearly breaking the champion's arm before she was pulled away. Rousey then looked down, and lifted up Lynch's championship, sending an ominous message.

Seth Rollins(c) vs Aleister Black- Universal Championship Match

These two incredible performers put on a great fight in Vengeance's main event, as each hit some of their very best offense. Several times, it looked like Aleister Black was about to become champion once more, but Seth Rollins always had an answer to the Black Mass. After Black managed to survive the Revolution Knee, Rollins went high risk and got caught, as Black connected with a big kick to send Rollins crashing to the canvas. The opportunity to end the match was in sight, but Black hesitated, seemingly wondering if he shouldn't try another Black Mass as it seemed Rollins had the move scouted. He went for it anyway, but Rollins was one step quicker, hitting a kick to the gut and delivering the Blackout to bring this back and forth match to a close.

Winner and still Universal Champion: Seth Rollins

Henry's Pay-Per-View Reviews: ECW Heatwave 1998

As the world collectively loses it's mind over the coronavirus(this could be a fun intro to look back on in the future), the only sanity that can be found is in the ring. Let's take a look today at what is often considered ECW's finest outing, Heatwave '98. - Jokes aside, everyone should stay safe out there. I know it's easy to panic about these mass outbreaks, and I've certainly felt very nervous about everything I've heard and read over the past week. But I think we all need some fun in our lives right now, and this show is the epitome of distraction. - The opening contest is one of the highlights of the night, as Jerry Lynn takes on Justin Credible. Credible has an entire entourage in his corner, including Chastity, Jason and Nicole Bass, and their involvement in this match at times bordered on excessive. But the match begins to hit it's peak when Lynn puts Credible through a table with a hurricanrana, and it's all fantastic from...

American Dad "Twinanigans" Review

It's been a while since the last Steve and Roger episode, and this week reminded me why that's such a classic American Dad pairing. This is a genuinely fun episode, filled with some great one liners and even a great callback to the show's past. "Twinanigans" centers around the heretofore unmentioned acting careers of Roger and Steve, who twinned it up as the Smith Brothers. I'm not going to question whether this backstory actually makes sense to the overall timeline; no one watches American Dad for continuity. Steve had to give up acting to attend kindergarten, and wants to give Roger a second chance at greatness. The two head to auditions, where Steve impresses and Roger blows it. It's here the episode kinda misfires, as it's never made abundantly clear why Roger struggles so much at acting. Is he just trying too hard, does he have some form of stage fright, does he not even know what acting is? This part of the story is just never explained, w...

The Route of Life

dedicated to my hermits, who changed my life Ch 1 My Hermit crabs Hermit crabs are sometimes hard to take care of. Especially when you never had a hermit. Last Sunday afternoon I got 2 Hermit crabs. Their names are Crabbe and Goyle. I have talked with many sales people. The first Petco we went to (where we got the hermits and their things) seemed to have no idea on the subject. So we ended up going to Dolphin Pet Village. They were more experience at the subject. Now we have some of the things we will need. Last week, I went to a second Petco. There we got a cuttlebone, which is the bone of a fish. Now they look happy. Have a good day Hermit Crabs! Ch 2 Curious Crab The week before last week, my mom looked into my crabitat and found that one of my crabs had climbed one of my fake trees. It was on the top branch. Later, when I was changing to get ready for bed, the crab fell out of his branch. I hope he is okay. He’s definitely starting to look okay. How funny do you think that story is...
