Also, after winning the battle royal last week, the 9th Wonder of the World Chyna takes on Kelly Kelly with the vacant Women's Title on the line. All this and much more tonight on Raw! Universe Mode May 30th, 2016 Raw Location: Albuquerque, NM Kevin Nash w/Scott Hall vs Ken Shamrock- King of the Ring Qualification Match Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, known as the Outsiders, demanded a shot at entering King of the Ring, and were granted it against Ken Shamrock. Hall accompanied Nash to the ring, offering a pretty massive advantage to his tag partner. Shamrock fought hard, staying out of Nash's reach for a majority of the match. Hall's antics on the outside cost Shamrock though, allowing Nash to connect with a devastating Jacknife Powerbomb for the 3 count. If Nash has Hall in his corner for the re

WWE Extreme Rules 2016 Recap

What's that, up in the sky? Is it a bird, is it a plane, it's.....it's......SUPER ROMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's right, tonight Roman Reigns collected all your smark tears into a jar, shook it up real nice, and shoved it straight up YOUR CANDY ASS! Extreme Rules 2016 was a show that featured a few highs, a few lows, a low-blow from Draymond Green, and the greatest return of all time(thumbtacks). We opened up nicely, with the Uso's getting their butts kicked pillar to post. This match was deemed pointless by the main event, but it was still nice to Anderson and Gallows be the bad asses that they are. As God as my witness, Kalisto was broken in half, and it was glorious. Rusev's second run with the US Title should be brilliant, provided a little boy from Massachusetts doesn't get involved. Spoilers- he will. The New Day continue to evolve, as does Big E, to the point where I might be forced to admit they can actually wrestle. The Vaudevillains still need mor

A ruthless and unhinged Viper targets the title he lost to the valiant, fighting champion. Two men embroiled in war must pass the ultimate test and survive the gauntlet. Henry's Universe Mode #25: Smackdown

The final Smackdown before Judgment Day sees a massive main event as the two biggest champions, Dean Ambrose and The Rock, face their challengers, Booker T and Randy Orton. The final two spots in the #1 Contender's match will be decided, new debuts and more! Universe Mode May 19th, 2016 Smackdown Location: Washington, D.C. Prime Time Players vs The Miz and Damien Mizdow Prior to defending their titles against the New Day at Judgment Day, the Prime Time Players took on The Miz and Mizdow here on Smackdown. It was pretty clear that Miz and Mizdow weren't a great pair, as they struggled to communicate. Although Mizdow had the crowd's support, he clearly didn't have Miz's favor, as the Awesome One hung him out to dry several times. Titus decimated Mizdow with a Clash of the Titus as Miz just watched as the referee counted to 3. After the match, Miz fired Mizdow, saying he had no use for a stunt double who couldn't hold his own. Winners: Prime Tim

Henry's Universe Mode #23: Raw

Universe Mode May 16th, 2016 Raw Location: Providence, RI Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman vs ??? Brock Lesnar, with his associate Paul Heyman, made their way down to the ring for their open challenge, and who should emerge; the Icon, Sting! The Stinger was not about to be yet another victim of the Beast, and fought with everything he had, matching Brock blow for blow. He even managed to take Brock down with a Scorpion Death Drop, but Heyman distracted the referee from making the count. This only served to annoy Brock, who got up to his feet and planted Sting with an F-5, believing the job was done, only to see Sting somehow kick out. Lesnar continue to get more and more annoyed, letting himself get caught into another Scorpion Death Drop, but Lesnar proved how unbeatable he is, kicking out just before the three count. Heyma

Henry's Universe Mode #22: Main Event

On this episode of Main Event, it is an old school collision, as The APA take on Smackdown's newest team, Ric Flair and Arn Anderson. Fresh off maiming his own brother in a shocking betrayal, Raw's Kane is in action. In the main event, it's a battle of guys though to be "B+" players, as Mick Foley takes on Daniel Bryan. Henry's Universe Mode #21: Smackdown

Welcome back to Henry's Universe Mode. I begin this post by informing you of another format change, this time in displaying the results of matches. The effect should become apparent shortly. I think this new format should shorten the posts, which have been a little too long, and also make it a lot easier to read the match summaries them selves. Before this episode gets underway, Smackdown's own pay-per-view, Judgment Day, which will take place, in Universe and in real life, on May 22nd. Smackdown GM Teddy Long announced that at Judgment Day, the semi main event will see Dean Ambrose defend the United States Title against Booker T in a 30-minute long Iron Man match. The winner of tonight's main event, featuring Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan, will be named the number one contender to the WWE title, and will take on The Rock at Judgment Day. WWE Payback 2016 Recap

It wasn't a good show, it wasn't a bad show, it was a good show. I don't know man, you find some other way to end it. There's been a lot of talk over the past few weeks over the supposed "new era" of the WWE, and tonight's show gave us a brief taste of what the era could have in store. I'm reminded of early to mid 1998, after a few horrible years of programming, when the WWF finally regrouped and started to put together some very solid programming. It wasn't until 1999 when the WWF finally dethroned WCW, but 1998 is one of my favorite years of WWF programming, as Vince and Co. demonstrated just how good they could become. I normally wouldn't cover pre-show matches, but these two were pretty important. First, in remarkably the only questionable booking move of the night, Ziggler for some reason picked up a win over Baron Corbin. It's a demonstration of just how bad 50/50 booking is, and we should all move on. In the greatest pre-show m
