Henry's Universe Mode #29: Raw

This episode of Raw may be the biggest and most shocking episode of the year. Let's get to it.

Following the shocking injury sustained by Trish Stratus on Main Event, the WWE Women's Title has been declared vacant. Number one contender Kelly Kelly will challenge for the title next week, and her opponent will be the winner of tonight's co-main event, a six woman battle royal. The big King of the Ring tournament begins tonight, with three spots up for grabs. There will be sixteen participants, eight from Raw and eight from Smackdown. In the main event, Brock Lesnar's open challenge continues, and if Lesnar wins yet again, the Raw GM will make him the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Title.

Kane vs Mankind- King of the Ring Qualification Match

Two demented souls went head to head for the first King of the Ring Qualification spot as Kane faced Mankind. Kane looked to continue his hot streak, but Mankind wasn't going down without a fight. Mankind dominated most of the match, rather surprisingly, and looked to be about to qualify for King of the Ring. The Monster wasn't down, though, planting Mankind with a chokeslam that shockingly wasn't enough for victory. Kane looked for another chokeslam to put it away, but Mankind stepped through and hit his double-arm DDT, with was enough for an upset victory.

Winner and qualifying for King of the Ring: Mankind

Jack Swaggar vs Umaga vs Shelton Benjamin vs Ricky Steamboat- King of the Ring Qualification Match

Four men who had yet to appear on Raw all received a big opportunity in this match. Umaga and Benjamin brawled on the outside while Swaggar and Steamboat went at it in the ring, each scoring near falls on the other. With all 4 back in the ring, Benjamin dropped Umaga with a T-Bone Suplex and appeared to have the match won when Steamboat broke it up. With Steamboat distracted, Swaggar went for the Gutwrecnch Powerbomb, but The Dragon countered and dropped the Real American with a chickenwing facebuster. Neither Benjamin nor Umaga could react in time, and Steamboat qualified for King of the Ring.

Winner and qualifying for King of the Ring: Ricky Steamboat

Ryback vs Mark Henry- King of the Ring Qualification Match

The third qualification spot for King of the Ring was on the line as the Big Guy took on the World's Strongest Man. Both possessed the same qualities of being both nasty and vicious, and neither man was willing to step down and give up. Henry went running in for a big headbutt, and was countered by an impressive feat of strength from Ryback, sending Henry up into the air and planting him with a Shell Shocked. That move was not enough to put away Henry, however. The Big Guy didn't give up, firing back with a flurry and finally ending it with a massive Meat Hook clothesline.

Winner and qualifying for King of the Ring: Ryback

Naomi vs Alicia Fox vs Lita vs Layla vs Tamina vs Chyna

The big battle royal to see who would face Kelly Kelly for the Women's Title featured a major shock, as Chyna made her return to the WWE. The Ninth Wonder of the World made an immediate impact, quickly tossing out Naomi. Layla made an unwise decision to try and attack Chyna from behind, and was tossed out for her troubles. Tamina and Chyna then locked eyes, and a war between the two biggest women in the match began. Lita, not to be outdone, countered an elimination attempt from Alicia Fox and tossed the Foxy One out of the competition. Chyna dropped Tamina with a Jacknife Powerbomb, but was taken out by Lita with a Twist of Fate. Lita understood she was at a disadvantage, and targeted Tamina. Tamina was not going down easy, but a big assist from Chyna provided Lita with the leverage to get the elimination, leaving Chyna and Lita as the final two. Chyna tried to use her strength to toss Lita out of the ring, but Lita was too cunning, and reversed the move. Chyna went to try and toss her out again, but again Lita countered. Lita was caught with a big forearm, though, and Chyna finally managed get Lita over the top rope and out of the ring to earn a Women's Title Match. Kelly Kelly did not look very pleased backstage.

Winner: Chyna

Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman vs ???

Brock Lesnar looked ready to become number one contender, confident that he could collect another victory, until......the glass shattered and Stone Cold Steve Austin answered the open challenge! Austin immediately took control, firing rights and lefts and knocking down the Beast Incarnate. He might have won the match then and there, but Heyman got involved to save his client. Austin looked to get momentum several times, but each time Heyman got involved. Lesnar took advantage, connecting on an F-5, but Austin was having none of it, kicking out at two. The two battled back and forth, and Austin dropped Lesnar with a Stunner, but Heyman was there again. Austin hit Lesnar with a second Stunner, but Heyman pulled the ref out of the ring. The ref decided the enough was enough and enough and kicked Heyman from ringside, and while he was doing so, Lesnar hit another F-5 on Austin. The ref was late getting back into the ring, and it gave Austin time to recover. He planted Lesnar with a third Stunner to pull off a fantastic return for the Rattlesnake.

Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
