At Judgment Day, a new WWE Champion was crowned when Randy Orton won the title for the second time. Tonight on Smackdown, the Number One Contender's Chase continues, Natalya and Brie Bella clash, and three King of the Ring spots are on the line. Not to mention the very first Awesome Challenge!

The Miz w/Maryse vs ?????- The Awesome Challenge

The Miz hosted The Awesome Challenge, and looked very confident in securing victory, when who should accept the challenge but.........Damien Sandow! Fired from his role as Damien Mizdow last week, the Intellectual Savior of the Masses was accompanied by his good friend, Cody Rhodes, who had been traded from Raw for Sheamus. The reformation of the Rhodes Scholars took place on Smackdown as the fans went nuts. The Miz quickly rallied from this shock and got in a lot of offense, but Sandow struck back with a Terminus neck breaker that wasn't quite enough. Maryse helped her husband stay in it for as long as possible, but a second neck breaker was all it took for Damien Sandow to pick up the win.

Winner: Damien Sandow

Bret Hart vs Rusev w/Lana- King of the Ring Qualifying Match

Rusev learned from his mistake against Kevin Owens, bringing Lana to the ring with him for this King of the Ring qualifier against Bret Hart. Rusev, with some assistance from Lana, looked to be on another level. Bret simply couldn't keep up with the Bulgarian Brute, who was tossing the Hitman all over the ring. Bret had a few tricks up his sleeve, though, and made sure to avoid the fatal blow. Bret even managed to lock in the Sharpshooter, but he simply hadn't done enough damage to get the tap out. A big slam from Rusev onto a steel chair thrown in by Lana was enough to turn Bret's lights out, earning Rusev a very impressive victory and entry into King of the Ring.

Winner and qualifying for the King of the Ring: Rusev

Cesaro and Tyson Kidd vs The Hardy Boyz- King of the Ring Qualifying Match

This was a very unique match, with two King of the Ring qualifying spots on the line in a tag team match. Cesaro was quickly growing a lot of admiration with the Smackdown fans, and he didn't disappoint, demolishing both Hardys whenever he got in the ring. It was established that Tyson Kidd was the much weaker of the two, and Jeff and Matt focused on him for most of the match. Kidd took out Matt Hardy with a big superplex to the outside, and looked content to take a count-out victory, but Cesaro wasn't having it, tagging in and breaking up the count. The match continued back and forth, but good tagging from Matt and Jeff gave Jeff the opportunity to put Cesaro away. He climbed to the top rope, ready to hit the Swanton, and leaped right into a massive uppercut that turned his lights out. An excellent tag team encounter saw Cesaro and Tyson Kidd qualify for King of the Ring.

Winners and qualifying for King of the Ring: Cesaro and Tyson Kidd

Brie Bella vs Natalya- Women's World Title Number One Contender's Match

Two of the women involved in Judgment Day's triple threat match faced off on Smackdown, with the winner earning the right to challenge Nikki Bella for her title. Natalya very obviously had the power advantage, and it took all she had for Brie to stay alive in the match. Brie connected with a very early Bella Buster, but Natalya quickly kicked out and dropped Brie with a discus clothesline, with Brie just kicked out of. Nattie then locked in the Sharpshooter, and would've had a tap out, but Brie just got her hand on the bottom rope. Natalya was closing in on a victory and looking for a second Sharpshooter, but with the ref's back turned, Brie took the easy way, poking Natalya in the eye. With Nattie in a lot of pain, Brie dropped her with a second Bella Buster for the victory and another shot at her sister.

Winner: Brie Bella

Dolph Ziggler vs Austin Aries vs Batista- Number One Contender's Match

With Randy Orton winning the WWE Title at Judgment Day, the Viper stated that the Age of Orton has begun on Smackdown. This match would provide the second elimination in the Chase, and determine the final two participants who will meet next week for the number one contendership. Ziggler and Aries understood the importance of eliminating Batista, and teamed up together for a little while, but it was a very temporary alliance. Ziggler appeared to have eliminated Batista off a Zig Zag, but Aries, in a fit of rage, broke up the pinfall, a very poor decision. Aries then had Ziggler out of a Brainbuster, but Batista tried to take the pin, enraging Aries, so he broke up another elimination. Batista looked for quite a few eliminations, trying to connect on the Batista Bomb, but each time the other man would break the move up. Batista finally hit the Batista Bomb on Ziggler, but Aries took him out and went for the pin himself, only to see Dolph kick out. They brawled on the outside before heading back in. Aries and Ziggler really went at it, and Aries was so caught up in the brawl that he forgot the Animal was in the match. Fatal mistake. Batista dropped Aries with a second Batista Bomb for the win, eliminating Aries from the Chase.

Winner: Batista         Eliminated: Austin Aries

Next week, Batista and Dolph Ziggler square off, with the winner becoming the new Number One Contender to Randy Orton's WWE Title. See you on Main Event.

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
