Henry's Universe Mode #28: Judgment Day

There comes a time when all living creatures must pass judgment. Were you good in your life? Did you help the poor and the needy, posses empathy and warmth, inspire and create? Or did you cheat, were you dishonest, did you steal that which was not yours? Regardless of your choices and your actions, tonight the men and women of Smackdown must pass their Judgment Day. A ruthless and unhinged Viper targets the title he lost to the valiant, fighting champion. Two men embroiled in war must pass the ultimate test and survive the gauntlet. A new challenger will be crowned, but who will sit on the throne once he is victorious? And two sisters, apart in mind and united by blood, challenge for one of Smackdown's richest prizes. Judgment Day is upon us, and none can outrun their fate.

Nikki Bella(c) vs Brie Bella vs Natalya- Women's World Title Match

All 3 women were desperate to win the gold quickly, with a lot of early covers for all 3. Natalya brought a chair into the ring, attempting to use it to weaken her opponents, but it backfired when Nikki hit her with it. Nikki took out Brie with a big forearm, but Natalya knocked down Nikki and got 2 counts on both Bella Twins. Natalya quickly became the target, with the Bellas realizing that she was the biggest threat in the match. Brie did most of the work, and appeared to have Natalya down for the count, but Nikki took advantage, hitting Brie with a snapmare knee smash. Natalya got to her feet, but not in time to prevent Nikki from getting the 3 count and escaping Seattle with her title.

Winner and still Women's World Champion: Nikki Bella

Prime Time Players(c) vs The New Day- WWE Tag Team Title Match

Big E and Kofi had Xavier Woods in their corner for this match, and the champs definitely seemed unhappy to see him. Titus On'Neil tried to take out Xavier, but paid for it when he got triple teamed by the challengers. Big E and Kofi isolated Darren Young, seeing him as the weaker link, and executed a good amount of damage. Titus got momentum back for the champs, but Xavier saved his team multiple times with distractions on the outside, allowing Kofi to connect with Trouble in Paradise, but Titus found the bottom rope. It was only a matter of time, as the champs were out of it, and when Xavier got physically involved, Kofi and Big E hit the Midnight Hour on Darren Young for the win and the tag belts.

Winners and the NEW WWE Tag Team Champions: The New Day

Batista vs Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler vs Austin Aries- WWE Title #1 Contender's Chase

Smackdown GM Teddy Long announced that this match would be a #1 Contender's Chase Match. Essentially, competitors would be eliminated through a series of matches until one man stood victorious. Four men would become three after this match, with the man taking the pinfall being eliminated and the other three facing off in a triple threat match next week on Smackdown. All four men are experienced grapplers, and there were a lot of near falls early on. Batista asserted his dominance, taking out Ziggler and Aries with a bat before engaging in a wild brawl with Kevin Owens. Ziggler got up and took out Aries with a Zig Zag, but it wasn't enough to eliminate A Double from the Chase. Batista and Ziggler got into it outside of the ring, and Aries planted Owens with a Brainbuster off of a sledgehammer to eliminate KO from the Chase. Owens wasn't at all pleased, taking out Aries with the hammer after the match, and had to be escorted out of the building. We were later informed that Owens was suspended for his actions, and wouldn't be returning anytime soon.

Winner: Austin Aries    Eliminated: Kevin Owens

Dean Ambrose(c) vs Booker T- United States Title Match, 30-Minute Iron Man Match

These men were determined to finally settle the score in this Iron Man Match, and came out of gates swinging, not bothering to lock up. Both men quickly established that this would not be a match, it was going to be a fight. When they got back inside the ring, the referee was knocked down, and Ambrose attempted to capitalize with a steel chair, but Booker saw the maneuver coming and put a stop to it. Ambrose gained momentum off a flying crossbody, but took too long on offense and was caught with an Axe Kick as the challenger scored the first fall. Ambrose, trailing by a fall, got desperate and threw everything he had at Booker. Nothing was working, and Booker was growing confident that he could open up a big lead as he started to get near falls. Out of nowhere, however, Ambrose connected with Dirty Deeds to tie it at 1 fall apiece. Both men battled, and neither could score the killing blow. They both nearly got counted out on the outside, but both beat the count. The clock was running out, and Booker started to get extremely desperate. He took a big risk by going for a big elbow drop, and it didn't pan out, and Ambrose rolled out of the way. Dean rolled up Booker, and, behind the ref's back, grabbed a handful of tights to score a big second fall with just a few minutes remaining. Booker did his best, but there wasn't enough time to get a second fall, as the Lunatic Fringe cheated his way to retaining the gold. After the match, Booker was extremely upset about losing the match the way he did, and when Smackdown GM Teddy Long tried to calm him down, he simply got the cold shoulder, as the former US Champ stormed out of the building.

Winner and still United States Champion: Dean Ambrose

The Rock(c) vs Randy Orton- WWE Title Match

The People's Champion was a controversial figure on Smackdown heading into this title defense, with many not agreeing with his tactics. The champ grabbed the early advantage over the challenger, overpowering Orton and letting loose a barrage of cheap shots in the ropes. We saw an interesting dynamic as the two exchanged offense, as the Smackdown fans cheered Orton and booed the cheating tactics of The Rock. Orton worked over the limbs of The Rock, who wasn't about to lie down, getting up to his feet and connecting on a Spinebuster that nearly won the match. Multiple times Rock thwarted attempts from Orton to hit the RKO, and the Viper got fed up, instead choosing to punt the champ, nearly kicking his head off his shoulders. The Brahma Bull showed his fighting spirit, hitting a lot of solid offense, including a big superplex. The Rock locked Orton into the Sharpshooter, but the Viper fought to the bottom rope, and then dropped the champ with a RKO, as he finally connected, only to see Rock find the bottom rope, sending the Viper into a rage. The Rock then went into a fury, striking Orton over and over again as he proved that he still had fight, that he still had a pulse. But as The Rock fought with everything in his being, he misfired on a right hand, and Orton dropped him with a second RKO to earn the 3 count. As Orton celebrated becoming a 2-time WWE Champion in the ring, the now former WWE Champion, blood gushing from a wound in his forehead, stumbled up the ramp. A classic battle from two of the best, and it now seems that the Age of Orton has begun on Smackdown.

Winner and the NEW WWE Champion: Randy Orton

Judgment Day was a big pay-per-view as we saw two belts change hands, including Randy Orton recapturing the WWE Title. I hope you've enjoyed Judgment Day. I'll see you on Monday Night Raw.

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
