The Balor Club vs AJ Styles and Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady

Sami Zayn vs Neville- Number One Contender's Match for the NXT Championship

Summary:
We opened NXT with the NXT TV Title on the line, as Baron Corbin defended against a mystery opponent, who turned out to be Pentagon Jr, the man who defeated Rey Mysterio on Main Event, and the only man on NXT with Cero Miedo. Baron had been on fire entering this match, and showed just how good he can be, outwrestling and outpacing his challenger. A Falcon Arrow from the Lone Wolf nearly put the match away early, but Pentagon just got the shoulder up. Pentagon fought back, but Corbin's power was overwhelming, and a devastating DDT off the apron appeared to put the match away. Pentagon showed resilience, hitting a Sling Blade that nearly put the match away. The match only lasted a little while longer, as Pentagon connected with the Fear Factor, putting Corbin away to become the new champ, just one week after Corbin won the title. Our next match saw two of NXT's tag teams square off, as The Ascension faced Immortal Perfection, Curtis Axel and his father Mr. Perfect. Both teams traded offense early, keeping in line with the rules and not letting chaos rule. Mr. Perfect came close to getting victory off of a Perfect Plex, but Konnor broke the pin on Viktor. Viktor hit an STO that came close, but Mr. Perfect grabbed hold of the bottom rope. Viktor fought off both members of Immortal Perfection and set up the Fall of Man, but Axel took out Konnor on the apron. Eventually, Axel tagged in, hitting an Axehole while Mr. Perfect took out Konnor for the victory. Our next match saw Paige and Bayley in tag action, with the winner choosing the stipulation of their title rematch. With high stakes in this matchup, the former champ Bayley was eager to make a statement, nearly finishing off the woman who beat her, Paige,  hitting a Bayley to Belly that forced Charlotte to make the save. Bayley and Sasha worked well together, rather surprisingly, and after another Bayley to Belly on Charlotte, Sasha ran interference to help seal the victory. After the match, Sasha made it clear that should Bayley recapture the gold, she's first in line. NXT GM William Regal announced that Bayley had already chosen the stipulation that she wanted, a ladder match, so that will be the stipulation added to their upcoming title rematch.

Our semi-main event was a massive six man tag, featuring three champions. The Balor Club clearly had the size advantage and used it well, with Gallows scoring some near falls on Styles using power moves. The match devolved into chaos pretty quickly following a Tornado DDT from Enzo on Balor himself, with all six men in the ring. A miscommunication from Enzo and Styles nearly ended the match, but Styles would hit the Styles Clash on Anderson, only to be taken out from behind by Balor. Following several more near falls, Big Cass tagged in and connected on the East River Crossing on Anderson for the victory. Our main event saw best friends Sami Zayn and Neville battling it out for number one contendership. Both men know each other quite well, so the early part of the match was very cagey. Zayn managed to lock in a Koji Clutch, but Neville fought out. More back and forth, and Sami locked in the Koji Clutch for a second time, forcing Neville to fight to the bottom rope. Neville went up top, hitting an Imploding 450 for an agonizingly close near fall. Neville fought with ferocity, going for a Swanton off the top, but Sami rolled out of the way. Sami locked in the Koji Clutch for the third time, and Neville appeared to pass out. The referee wanted to call the match right then and there, but Sami called him off, instead rolling over Neville and getting the three count. After the match, both men shook hands in a show of respect, and Neville congratulated his friend on earning another shot at the NXT Championship.

I hope you've enjoyed this episode of NXT. This series will be going on a break for a short time, only a week or so, but stay tuned, as the next episode of Smackdown is a doozy. Until then, take care.

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
