Roman Reigns vs Cesaro- Brand Warfare Match

Two of Universe Mode's hardest-hitters squared off in one for the ages, an outright classic to open WrestleMania. You could see that the stage took Roman a bit by surprise, while the more experienced Cesaro took control of the match. The Swiss Superman pulled out every trick in his book, hitting a variety of uppercuts and several incredible feats of strength. Reigns refused to stay down, and met Cesaro at every turn. He kicked out of the Cesaro Swing, then a Neutralizer, and caught Cesaro with a Spear for a narrow near fall. SmackDown's Representative retook control, connecting on a second Neutralizer, only for the Big Dog to get the shoulder up once more. It looked for a minute like the upset could happen, but a third Neutralizer put Reigns to rest. He showed incredible resolve, but it was Cesaro that earned a future world title shot and brought the glory to SmackDown.

Winner: Cesaro

Itami and Balor(c) vs The Wyatt Family vs #DIY- Elimination Match for the World Tag Team Titles

The Wyatts started off this match with #DIY, with the losers being eliminated. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have been impressive since their debut, but they were simply destroyed here, Gargano pinned quickly by Luke Harper after a Discus Clothesline. Itami and Balor then entered the fray, while Bray entered the match to replace Erick Rowan, using the Freebird Rule. This proved to be a great decision, as the leader of the Wyatt Family ran right through the tag team champions. Harper had to do very little, as Hideo was put away with a Sister Abigail, and the Wyatts finally recaptured the gold.

Tyler Breeze vs Shinsuke Nakamura

Prince Pretty had absolutely nothing to lose, going for broke right off the bat. Breeze, viewed as an underdog by most despite being a former world champion, took Nakamura by surprise and did quite well. Things nearly went really south, though, when Breeze missed on an enziguri and was caught with a Kinshasa, but he managed to get his shoulder up in time. The King of Cuteville connected with a Super Model Kick and then an Unprettier, but the wily Nakamura got his leg to the bottom rope. Breee then lifted Shinsuke to the top rope, looking for a hurricarana. Nakamura countered into a powerbomb, then nearly took Tyler's head off with a second Kinshasa to pick up the win.

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

Asuka(c) vs Sasha Banks- Raw Women's Title Match

The main event of Part 1 saw Asuka put her championship on the line against Sasha Banks. The Legit Boss knew she wasn't going to be able to out-wrestle the champion, and instead used her speed and agility to her advantage. Early on, Sasha knocked Asuka out of the ring, before climbing to the top rope to deliver an amazing frog splash to Asuka on the floor. It was an incredible moment, but the Empress of Tomorrow simply kept going. She just wore Sasha down, and in the end all of Sasha's effort was for naught. The Asuka Lock was applied, and although Sasha tried her best, there was nowhere to go, and Asuka made her first defense via submission.

Winner and still Raw Women's Champion: Asuka

That ends Part 1 of WrestleMania. Join me later today for Part 2, which will feature Dean Ambrose and The Undertaker colliding inside Hell in a Cell.

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
