Henry's Universe Mode #149: SmackDown Live

The blue brand is in turmoil. Following devastating attacks from Brock Lesnar, the past two shows have ended with the Beast Incarnate standing tall. Tonight, to open SmackDown, General Manager Daniel Bryan will open the show and address what, if any, his plans for handling Lesnar are. Very little else is advertised for this show, though we do know that the Wyatt Family will make their SmackDown debuts when they face the Prime Time Players.

Daniel Bryan Promo

The SmackDown GM made his way to the ring to a raucous reception. He then addressed Brock Lesnar, saying that he knew something like this would happen. Although he has every right to punish, Brock, he is impressed with Lesnar's willingness to make things happen. So next week, he will face Cesaro and Roman Reigns, with the winner facing AJ Styles at SmackDown's exclusive pay-per-view, Backlash. Also, Tyson Kidd will challenge Randy Orton in our main event for the Intercontinental Championship, and Alexa Bliss face Charlotte next week in a WrestleMania Rematch. If Nia Jax should get involved, she will be fired. Bryan gave Dillinger his chance at revenge, but in a handicap match against Heath Slater and Bo Dallas. Finally, Bryan addressed The Miz. Although Bryan doesn't respect Miz, he gave him a chance in our opening contest, against Kane.

Kane vs The Miz

In a bit of a surprise, The Miz had the full support of this capacity crowd in Hartford, who gave the Awesome One a huge show of appreciation. Perhaps spurred on by the fans, The Miz fought like he never had before, taking it to the Big Red Machine. Kane delivered not one but two huge chokeslams, and still Miz fought on. Kane just could not keep The A-Lister down, who countered a big move into a small package to steal the win.

Winner: The Miz

The Wyatt Family vs Prime Time Players

The Wyatts' destructive path made its way to the blue brand, as Luke Harper and Erick Rowan squared off against Darren Young and Titus O'Neil. Although Darren and Titus showed off good teamwork, Bray Wyatt's presence outside the ring made the difference. Wyatt slid a chair into the ring, and unbeknownst to the official, Harper planted Titus onto the chair to get the win.

After the match, it was Enzo and Big Cass who made themselves known. They were officially named number one contenders during the week, and Enzo took this opportunity to declare their intentions.

Winners: The Wyatt Family

Tye Dillinger vs The Social Outcasts

For once, the numbers game was not in the favor of the Perfect Ten, as Tye Dillinger took on both Heath Slater and Bo Dallas. Although Dillinger looked very good, he got caught up in his quest for revenge, letting Slater and Dallas stick around. He paid for it, as Bo connected on a big DDT to get the pinfall.

Winners: The Social Outcasts

Randy Orton(c) vs Tyson Kidd- Intercontinental Championship Match

Tyson Kidd, a former WWE and Tag Team Champion, was looking to become a Triple Crown member, as he took on Randy Orton in the main event. Kidd looked the goods early on, as he showcased his incredible offense. It was all Orton could do to hang on, and the Viper nearly lost the match and the championship multiple times. Off a big elbow drop, it was all in the challenger's favor, as Kidd looked to put it away. The champion played possum, and delivered with full force a vicious RKO, but only for a two count. Orton then grabbed a steel chair, looked to attack Kidd with it again, but Sami Zayn made his way to the ring, and put a stop to it. Kidd took advantage and locked in the Sharpshooter, and Orton was in trouble. With one last gasp, the Apex Predator found the bottom rope. Kidd didn't have anything left, but Orton had another RKO, and that was all she wrote.

The Intercontinental Champion was victorious, but looked to make his mark as he went for a Punt Kick. At the last second, Zayn pulled Kidd to safety, engaging in a staredown with Orton afterward.

Winner and still Intercontinental Champion: Randy Orton

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
