My Payback 2017 Predictions

Apologies for this post coming out today. It was supposed to go out yesterday, which leaves the awkward situation of three posts going out on the same day. Oh well. Also, why does everyone hate the name Payback so much? It's a fine pay-per-view name in my opinion, but it's certainly no Great Balls of Fire.

Pre-Show- Gallows and Anderson vs Enzo and Big Cass

My Prediction: Good Brothers win

We've seen this match a million times on Raw, and we get it once more on the Kickoff show. With The Revival not in the picture for the time being, the heels need the win more.

Cruiserweight Championship Match- Neville vs Austin Aries

My Prediction: A Great Champion

If you're going to name a show Payback, someone on this card's going to have to get revenge, and I think this is a good spot. Not sure where TJ Perkins fits into this, but I see Aries walking out with the belt.

Raw Tag Team Championship Match- The Hardy Boyz vs Cesaro and Sheamus

My Prediction: Someone's getting Broken

Cesaro and Sheamus are my boys, pardon the pun, and I'd be ecstatic to see them as champions once more. Jeff and Matt don't really need the titles, and if WWE can get the rights to the Broken gimmick, then a feud between the two is the only way forward.

United States Championship Match- Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho

My Prediction: USA! USA! USA!

It took a while, but Kevin Owens has finally won me over. I've really enjoyed his current run, and as an American citizen, I will do my civic duty in giving him this win.

Samoa Joe vs Seth Rollins

My Prediction: Joe's gonna kill you

It's amazing that bogus talk to stolen finishers have over-shadowed this match, but that's how exhausting wrestling fans are sometimes. Despite that, this should be a great match, and I see Joe getting the win.

House of Horrors Match- Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt

My Prediction: What on Earth is a House of Horrors Match?

I'm predicting Bray to win, by the way. But what is a House of Horrors match? Is it an Ambrose Asylum match with a different name? Why do we need a House of Horrors match? Why does no one answer any of my questions? I am very confuse.

Raw Women's Championship Match- Bayley vs Alexa Bliss

My Prediction: Bay Area Bayley

I will admit to some bias here, being from the Bay Area and having previously lived in San Jose. However, there is some logic to this pick. If the Bayley-Sasha feud is to continue, Bayley needs to keep the championship. And does Alexa really need another title run? She could have plenty of interesting matches with the likes of Nia Jax and Mickie James without the belt.

Braun Strowman vs Roman Reigns

My Prediction: The face gets the win

If Roman Reigns is in fact building towards a win over Brock Lesnar in the future, then he needs to take a loss here. A story is always more important than a win, and I honestly don't know what you do with Braun if he loses here. If this was a gimmick match, I could see Roman winning.

This is actually a pretty strong card. I feel like this event has the possibility to surprise a lot of people, and I'm hoping for it to succeed. Hopefully you all enjoy this weekend, and let's go Bayley.

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...

American Dad "Stompe Le Monde" Review

You know, I once tried to make it in musical theater. If only I had watched this episode beforehand, I would've known I needed a leather jacket to truly make it. Alas, those dreams are for a more pretentious soul than mine. "Stompe Le Monde" is a wild episode of American Dad, one that starts with Stan's previously unknown uncle dying and ends with wanton destruction of many Sonic Drive-Ins. It's a crazy a journey as it sounds, one that left me just struggling to keep up. The family to use the new inheritance to travel to New York City, but Stan quickly blows the money on the rights to Stomp, which is apparently a real musical. The whole town of Langley is very excited to see the new show, but Stan has no idea what he's doing, never once hiring a director or even rehearsing. Why this only came up literally minutes before opening is anyone's guess. The Smith Family is forced to go on the run, and are attacked by many ferocious coyotes off-screen. In ye...

American Dad "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" Review

American Dad as a show is definitely not afraid to get a little freaky, and nothing is more evident than the existence of Rogu, Roger's tumor that became a character himself in "Persona Assistant". Rogu primarily works as a character because he stays in the background, but this week, he takes a starring role in one of the weirdest American Dad episodes to date. "The Hand that Rocks the Rogu" has little in the way of traditional plot structure, and can only barely be considered an episode at all. It's more a collection of funny and bizarre skits, with a few running plot points that end up forming some sort of resolution. Steve wants to become a babysitter, but Francine says he's not ready, so he needs to prove himself to her. He does that by taking care of Rogu, as Roger is off for a night of NSFW activities. Steve is instructed not to let Rogu have candy or screentime, but violates both rules almost immediately. It turns out that Rogu multiplies w...
