Controversy reigned at Money in the Bank, when Fandango was attacked before the match, leaving Tyler Breeze to take his place and win the contract. For his part, Breeze has called the attack "heinous" and although he has no love of Fandango, is determined to get to the bottom of the case. Before he can, however, Daniel Bryan has ordered him to face Big Cass tonight in SmackDown's main event.

Bayley vs Emma
Just two days removed from completing the Triple Crown at Money in the Bank, Bayley was back in action. Although she showed a lot of the fire and competitive spirit we've come to expect, it's clear Bayley wasn't at one hundred percent. A Dana Brooke distraction cost Bayley huge, saving Emma after a Bayley to Belly. This moment changed the tides of the match, as Bayley was off her game and got caught with a Michinoku Driver for the surprise three count.
A poor first night as champ for Bayley was going to get worse, as after the match, while collecting herself, she was attacked by Nia Jax once more. Jax, who seems to have formed a bit of an alliance with Charlotte, was ruthless in her assault, doing tons of damage to the downed champion.
Winner: Emma
Big Show vs Baron Corbin
After returning at Money in the Bank to attack Randy Orton, Baron Corbin made his return to SmackDown to take on the Big Show. Although Corbin is not a man to take lightly, the story of this match was the power of the giant. It took all of his effort for Corbin to connect on an End of Days, and that still wasn't enough. He just kept fighting and clawing for anything, clearly struggling with Big Show's pure power and size. Finally, he felled the big man with a second End of Days, before delivering a third after the match to send a message.
Winner: Baron Corbin
Roman Reigns vs Tye Dillinger
Two of the blue brand's rising stars went head to head as Roman Reigns squared off with Tye Dillinger. Throughout this very competitive match, we saw Tye do his best to avoid all of Reigns' biggest moves. For the most part, this strategy was very successful, allowing the Perfect 10 to get a bunch of near falls. But he just couldn't keep the Big Dog down, and that led to disaster for Dillinger. Roman countered the Tye Breaker, and nearly broke Tye in half with a massive Spear for the win.
Winner: Roman Reigns

The Swiss Superman then made his presence felt, congratulating Reigns on his big win. However, he had arrived with a challenge. Although he has enjoyed their time teaming together, the simple fact is that this brand is only big enough for one. It's time to settle their score once and for all, at SmackDown's next exclusive pay-per-view, Battleground. This time, the loser of the match must leave SmackDown Live, vacating the brand and voiding their contract. However, the winner will receive a WWE Championship Match at Summerslam, one of the biggest events in Universe Mode. The two men shook hands, agreeing to this massive match.
Big Cass vs Tyler Breeze
Right away, the power of Big Cass had Prince Pretty running for cover. Throughout the beginning of this match, it was clear that Tyler Breeze was in trouble, as he continued to retreat and give ground. Eventually, he was backed into a corner, and that's when he started to fight. We were treated to a classic, as both men threw some of their best shots without getting the win. Breeze survived some massive strikes from Cass, including the Empire Elbow and a big boot, before kicking out of the East River Crossing. For his part, Cass shocked the King of Cuteville when he managed to get the shoulder up following a Beauty Shot, and also showed off good ring awareness, getting his foot on the bottom rope after taking an Unprettier. It was a battle of wills, and it would be Breeze that stood tall, delivering a second Beauty Shot, right on the jaw, for the win.
Winner: Tyler Breeze
