Henry's Universe Mode #178: Raw

Apologies for this post being a day late. Also, although I'm trying not to make cancelled shows the norm, this week's edition of SmackDown Live has been cancelled, although NXT will be posted tomorrow.

With just under two weeks until Bad Blood, Raw has a big night in store, with three contendership matches. Following the events of last week, Shane McMahon has agreed to Rusev's demands, as the Bulgarian Brute will face Austin Aries and Kurt Angle in a triple threat match. Representatives from six tag teams face off in a battle royal, with a title shot at the Hardy Boyz on the line, and Sasha Banks faces Becky Lynch in a massive main event. Plus, Seth Rollins returns to Raw to open the show.

Seth Rollins vs Sheamus

This would certainly be a tough test for the returning Rollins, as he went one on one with the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus. Although Sheamus looked good for most of the match, using his power and intensity to dominant Rollins, he was a little overzealous, choosing to inflict pain rather than win the match. Seth was simply more focused on this night, as he finally got Sheamus up for the Gourdbuster GTS and a big win.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Afterward, The Architect gave us a few answers about his future on the red brand, by issuing an open challenge for Bad Blood, to anyone willing to step in the ring with him. No matter who answers the challenge, Rollins promised to prove he is still The Man on Raw, and begin his road back to the top.

Goldust vs Kofi Kingston vs Sin Cara vs Tommaso Ciampa vs Scott Dawson vs Jason Jordan- #1 Contender's Match for the Raw Tag Team Championships

Action was fast and furious to start this match, and unfortunately for The Revival, Scott Dawson was the first man out, eliminated by Kofi Kingston. Kingston then looked to settle old scores, taking out Jason Jordan, scoring his second elimination. Tommaso Ciampa looked to prove that he could handle himself, but it quickly backfired, as he was taken out by Sin Cara, leaving just three men. Only two were left when Goldust took out Sin Cara, leaving just the Bizarre One and Kofi. In what many would consider a major upset, it was Goldust who came out on top, earning the Golden Truth a championship match at Bad Blood.

Winner: Goldust

Austin Aries vs Kurt Angle vs Rusev- #1 Contender's Match for the United States Championship

These three men put on a hell of a match, each determined to become the number one contender. Every competitor got a chance to shine, be it the athleticism of Austin Aries, the technical skill of Kurt Angle or the pure brutality of Rusev. The Bulgarian Brute certainly proved himself on this night, surviving everything, including the Last Chancery and incredible kickout of the Angle Slam. In the end, he was in the right place at the right time, as Angle delivered a second Angle Slam to Aries, only for Rusev to take him out and steal the pin.

Winner: Rusev

A Challenge is Issued

Next week on Raw, with just six days before their championship match at Bad Blood, Finn Balor has called out Samoa Joe to meet him in the ring. Will Joe accept? Find out next week on Raw.

Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch- #1 Contender's Match for the Raw Women's Championship

Two of the absolute best went head to head in our main event, and as you could've expected, it was a fantastic, high stakes match. Both women took unbelievable risks throughout the match, with Sasha taking things to another level with an incredible suicide dive and a top rope double knee drop. Despite everything, the Boss was struggling to put Becky away, as she could only get near falls. That was until she countered an attempt at the Bexploder and locked in the Bank Statement. With the entire arena cheering her on, Becky fought like never before, and rolled through into her own cover. It was only good for a near fall, but the close call stunned Banks, who ran right into the Dis-arm-her and with nowhere to go, tapped out.

Winner: Becky Lynch

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...
