Tradition is everything. In the WWE, a new tradition was started on November 26th, 1987, with the very first Survivor Series event. On that night, fans witnessed legends like Jake Roberts, Randy Savage, Ricky Steamboat, Harley Race, Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan collide in titanic battles, and a new yearly tradition was born. Now, each year, the tradition continues, as legends of yesteryear and superstars of the future collide in combat, each hoping to be the last man standing. Tonight, Raw and SmackDown face off for brand supremacy, with the winning team earning their brand the number 30 spot in the Royal Rumble. Both world championships are on the line, and the card is stacked. Tradition is everything, and perhaps someday, we will honor this night in the same way we did the one over 3 decades ago.

The Shield(c) vs The Revival- Raw Tag Team Championship Match
One year ago, The Shield opened this event with a loss to the Wyatt Family, a loss that fractured the group. Tonight, though, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns were a well-oiled machine, showcasing a multitude of tag team offense. The Revival had to fight from behind for a long period of the match, although they were able to take advantage of any opportunity thanks to the coaching of Arn Anderson. After eating a superkick from Rollins, Dash Wilder tried to regroup, huddling up with Scott Dawson. Seth was far from finished, as he attempted to take flight, aiming to take out both men with a suicide dive. The devious challengers saw it coming, catching him on the way down. But no gameplan could predict the insanity of The Big Dog, as Reigns came crashing into the pile, taking everyone down! Back inside the ring, Wilder ate a Superman Punch, and then a recovered Rollins made a statement, putting the match away with a Phoenix Splash.
Winners and still Raw Tag Team Champions: The Shield
Becky Lynch(c) vs Sasha Banks- Raw Women's Championship Match
Sasha Banks was going to have to bring her A-game if she wanted to dethrone Becky Lynch, but perhaps no one expected how much she was capable of. Sasha was downright nasty in this match, delivering some vicious forearms and a roundhouse kick that knocked Becky loopy, before dragging Lynch to the top rope for the devastating double knee drop. The champion did not get a lot of offense in, but when she did, she was smart, focusing on Sasha's arm. After avoiding a DDT to the apron, Lynch came alive, hitting a series of clotheslines before taking down Sasha with the exploder suplex. The Dis-arm-her was almost applied, but Banks escaped with a kick to the knee and a shining wizard. Sasha tried several times for the Bank Statement, finally getting the submission applied, only for Lynch's ankle to be under the bottom rope. The frustrated challenger got right in the ref's face, only for Becky to charge in and accidentally take down the official with a clothesline. Following a brief skirmish, the Dis-arm-her was finally applied, but there was no one to call for the submission. From out of the crowd, a woman wearing a hoodie snuck into the ring, blasting Lynch with a steel chair. It was former NXT competitor Ruby Riot! Banks recovered to climb to the top rope, hitting a frog splash to capture the Raw Women's Championship for a second time.
Winner and the NEW Raw Women's Champion: Sasha Banks
Kenny Omega(c) vs AJ Styles- Intercontinental Championship Match
With two of the best wrestlers in the world in the ring, you would expect them to put on an evenly matched, technical classic, especially given that AJ had not brought The Club as backup, wanting to prove he could beat Kenny Omega. What we got instead was a brutal affair, with the stage set early as both men were brawling before the bell could ring. Omega showcased his aerial ability multiple times, hitting a pair of suicide dives as well as a moonsault. After countering Styles' attempt at a brainbuster, Omega went on a crazy sequence. Snap Dragon suplex, followed by a standing moonsault, then the 450 splash and finally, the Croyt's Wrath! Somehow, this only got a near fall, and AJ showed his grit, getting back into it. The firemen's carry neckbreaker was followed up with his own moonsault, but for another near fall. Champion and challenger stepped up their game, resulting in a sequence of counters. Omega got the upper hand, connecting on the V-Trigger, but couldn't quite hit the One Winged Angel, as Styles slipped free, before spiking Omega with a reverse frankensteiner. After The Cleaner was sent to the floor, Styles went to another level of nastiness, hitting a brainbuster out on the floor! Another brainbuster, this time back in the ring, and the champion was barely moving. Styles was on the apron, thinking about the Phenomenal Forearm, but with the heart of a champion, Omega rolled forward, causing AJ to crash and burn. Finally, Kenny got him up, One Winged Angel! Another incredible title defense for Kenny Omega, but is this the end of his feud with AJ Styles?
Winner and still Intercontinental Champion: Kenny Omega
