Welcome to the first of this three part breakdown of the 2018 Dog League Draft, which officially kicks off the third year of Dog League action. This year, we have two new teams joining the ranks, in the Rare Woofs and Bark Force. To start off, we will take a look at the these two expansion teams and who they selected with the first two picks of the draft. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)
Bark Force Draft Picks

2nd Round, 12th Overall- WR Odell Beckham(Grade: B+)
3rd Round, 13th Overall- WR Julio Jones(Grade: B)

5th Round, 25th Overall- TE Travis Kelce(Grade: B+)
6th Round, 36th Overall- RB Rashaad Penny(Grade: B-)
7th Round, 37th Overall- QB Tom Brady(Grade: C)
8th Round, 48th Overall- DEF Houston Texans(Grade: B-)
9th Round, 49th Overall- K Greg Zuerlein(Grade: B+)
10th Round, 60th Overall- WR Stefon Diggs(Grade: B)
11th Round, 61st Overall- WR Juju Smith-Schuster(Grade: B+)
12th Round, 72nd Overall- RB Royce Freeman(Grade: C+)

14th Round, 84th Overall- WR Emmanuel Sanders(Grade: C)
15th Round, 85th Overall- TE Delanie Walker(Grade: B-)
Summary:
In their first year in the Dog League, Bark Force has snapped up an impressive roster. The wide receiver corps looks incredibly stacked, both in the starting line-up and on the bench. An intriguing tandem between top pick Le'Veon Bell and rookie Rashaad Penny is one to watch, and with three running backs being rookies on this team, they'll be heavily reliant on youth. Should Greg Zuerlein be able to go in Week 1, and if the Texans can keep their star defensive players on the field, this is a complete starting line-up, right off the bat.
Rare Woofs Draft Picks
1st Round, 2nd Overall: RB Todd Gurley(Grade: A)
2nd Round, 11th Overall: RB Leonard Fournette(Grade: B)
3rd Round, 14th Overall: WR Michael Thomas(Grade: B-)
4th Round, 23rd Overall: TE Rob Gronkowski(Grade: B+)
5th Round, 26th Overall: WR Larry Fitzgerald(Grade: B-)
6th Round, 35th Overall: RB Kenyan Drake(Grade: B+)
7th Round, 38th Overall: QB Russell Wilson(Grade: B)
8th Round, 47th Overall: K Stephen Gostkowski(Grade: C)
9th Round, 50th Overall: DEF Los Angeles Chargers(Grade: C+)
10th Round, 59th Overall: WR Allen Robinson(Grade: B)
11th Round, 62nd Overall: WR Golden Tate(Grade: B-)
12th Round, 71st Overall: RB Ronald Jones(Grade: C)
13th Round, 74th Overall: WR Alshon Jeffery(Grade: B)
14th Round, 83rd Overall: RB Chris Thompson(Grade: C-)
15th Round, 86th Overall: TE Kyle Rudolph(Grade: C+)
Summary:
Rare Woofs brings to the table a roster with talent, but not a ton of upside. Second overall pick Todd Gurley will lead the starting running backs, who will be relied upon to carry the rest of the team. The wide receivers in particular do not look like a Dog League caliber team, with Michael Thomas being the only significant young player. How veterans like Larry Fitzgerald, Rob Gronkowski and Russell Wilson play will determine this team's success and how far them may be able to go. The bench will need so work, and quickly, as most of those players do not look ready to step into a starting role, if necessary. This is shaping up to be a long first year for the Rare Woofs.
There's still two more of these posts to come this week, as I breakdown the other four team's rosters. Up next, Tailwaggerz and perennial bottom dwellers, Leaping Girl.
