Henry's Universe Mode(Season 5) NXT Takeover: Seattle Preview

Seattle is the sight of the next NXT Takeover event as "The Blackheart" faces "The King of Bros".

NXT Takeover: Seattle Card

Candice LeRae vs Sonya Deville

The duo of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville have slowly been working their way up the card, but found their momentum come to a halt after new NXT signing Candice LeRae defeated Rose in singles action. Triple H was eager to sign LeRae after her fantastic match with Ronda Rousey last year at Unforgiven, and after overcoming the disappointment of the loss, Rose saw a potential opportunity. The pair have gone after Candice multiple times in recent weeks, leading to the match being made and giving Sonya a chance to pick up a high profile win.

Moustache Mountain(c) vs Heavy Machinery- NXT Tag Team Championship Match

Despite their general quirkiness, Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight are a legit team, and managed to pick up a big win over James Drake and Zach Gibson to become number one contenders. These two well liked teams have been mostly respectful, though Trent Seven took offense to Dozovic's antics in a match between the two, eventually slapping the bigger man in the face. This nearly incited a brawl between both teams, and though Tyler Bate and Tucker Knight were able to calm things down, all bets will be off in Seattle.

Cedric Alexander(c) vs Roderick Strong- Street Fight for the Cruiserweight Championship

Immediately following the events in Blackpool, Triple H wasted no time in suspending Roderick Strong for the following month, before Cedric Alexander intervened. Now healed from Strong's attack, Alexander demanded a match, but the NXT General Manager refused. Triple H attempted to hold a backstage meeting with Strong to discuss reinstatement, but Roddy never showed. Finally, after Cedric Alexander defeated Akira Tozawa in the main event of NXT, Roderick Strong returned, once again attacking the Cruiserweight Champion. Stealing a mic from ringside, Strong didn't mince words, saying he would take what he deserved and from now on, it was "Roddy vs. The World". Deciding this had gone too far, Triple H booked the title match, also making it a Street Fight in an attempt to ensure the the fired up Alexander takes any and all liberties possible. And when Strong inevitably loses, "The Game" will fire his a** on the spot!

Io Shirai(c) vs Rhea Ripley- NXT Women's Championship Match

Despite her dominance, Rhea Ripley's run on NXT has mostly been marked by failure, with two straight loses to Toni Storm for the women's title. Ripley has been out to prove her doubters wrong in recent weeks, defeating everyone in her path. Io Shirai has shown no fear and no respect to her latest challenger, not even bothering to acknowledge Ripley's presence during their contract signing. This enraged Rhea, who attempted to take a cheap shot that Io easily avoided, dumping Rhea to the floor before casually posing with her title.

Tommaso Ciampa(c) vs Matt Riddle- NXT Championship Match

It was inevitable that these two men would meet, as Matt Riddle has proved himself a worthy number one contender with great performances night in and night out. Unlike Io Shirai, Tommaso Ciampa showed plenty of respect to his challenger at their contract signing, with the champion even admitting that Riddle may be the better wrestler. But Ciampa also stated that Riddle, unlike him, doesn't take any match or any win as seriously as he does. Tommaso Ciampa is called "The Blackheart" for a reason- it's because he does whatever it takes to any win, even turning on his best friend to get ahead, and that's something Matt Riddle would never do. Seemingly just to prove his point, Ciampa sat in on Riddle's match the following week with good friend Keith Lee, offering Riddle a chair to use to win the match. Riddle refused, but in a shocking turn, Lee did not, smashing Riddle over the head with the chair before exiting with the smirking NXT Champion. Tommaso Ciampa has already proudly announced that Keith Lee is his new protege and will be in his corner for the title match, stacking the odds against the challenger. With an injury to his head and his former best friend watching on, can Matt Riddle find his killer instinct and capture the NXT Championship?

Latest Update on new puppy

As you may well know from my mom's posts, there is a handsome puppy in the house. His name is Rascal, which appropriately fits him. Before Tuesday, he'd never had much problem with the crate, something I found interesting. He'd also never experienced anxiety issues when people came and left. Then yesterday, my dad and I were standing in the driveway organizing things for a trip to Goodwill. All of a sudden, Rascal freaked out. Some history behind the newest member of our family. Rascal was a stray in Hollister, when CARE, a rescue organization, found him. At this time Rascal was estimated to be about 2 months old, the age of a puppy when you first get them. He went to another family, who had him for quite a while, around 5 months. Then, without explanation, this family moved to Ohio, surrendering Rascal. CARE once again had him and his crazy antics for about a month. Rascal's name was changed to Boots in his time with CARE, but he wouldn't answer to that name. He ...

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
