Henry's Universe Mode(Season 5): Halloween Havoc 2019 Preview

SmackDown's latest pay-per-view covers the fallout of Summerslam and the beginning of the build to Survivor Series, as the blue brand hosts the spooky spectacular known as Halloween Havoc.

Halloween Havoc 2019 Card

Bobby Roode vs Samoa Joe- Money in the Bank Ladder Match

After Roode successfully defended his briefcase at The Bash, winning by count-out, Edge was quick to set up a rematch between the two men, although the briefcase was not at stake this time. The match took place two nights after Summerslam, and saw Joe pick up a decisive victory after quickly locking in the Coquina Clutch and putting the "Glorious One" to sleep. Edge decided that this win earned Joe another chance at claiming the briefcase, this time in a ladder match. Joe has made his intentions be known, declaring that when finishes off Bobby Roode and becomes Mr. Money in the Bank, he will be cashing in at the quickest possible opportunity, perhaps as soon as he gets down off the ladder. Could Samoa Joe be the next WWE Champion?

Big E vs Mustafa Ali

Since arriving to SmackDown, Mustafa Ali has been incredible, using his dynamic aerial offense and improved striking to pick up win after win, with the latest being the most impressive, as he defeated Jeff Hardy. After that win, Edge was ready to declare Ali the new number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship, but SmackDown's GM was interrupted by The New Day. A few weeks prior, Intercontinental Champion Rusev almost crippled New Day member Xavier Woods with The Accolade, and now Big E and Kofi Kingston were seeking revenge. Ali said he would be happy to face either Big E or Kofi for the chance to face Rusev, and Kofi graciously let Big E have the match, as he had gotten the chance to qualify for Money in the Bank back in June. Now, Ali's skills will be put to the test as he faces the exceptionally talented Big E, who competes in one of his very first singles matches.

The Dream Team(c) vs SAnitY- SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match

Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler have passed every challenge put in front of them, and have complemented each other perfectly. After defeating Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson at Summerslam, they were targeted by the Bludgeon Brothers, Harper and Rowan. But even the power and ferocity of the two backwoods brawlers would not be enough, as Dolph Ziggler countered Rowan's full nelson slam into a superkick, allowing McIntyre to finish him off with the Claymore Kick. However, McIntyre and Ziggler would fall prey to an attack from SAnitY, who used their numbers advantage to great effect. Dolph was wiped out completely after Killian Dain hit the "Show-Off" with his Ulster Plantation, a move which induced several injuries for Dolph, including two broken ribs. A furious McIntyre demanded a fight, but SAnitY refused to answer his call out until a title match was arranged. On the go-home show, Eric Young took to the mic, laughing at the suffering Ziggler had endured and promising that at Halloween Havoc, his group will take over.

John Cena vs Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins has quickly become one of the most hated figures on SmackDown and in all of wrestling, boasting about his bank account and talking down to every competitor on the roster, insisting that he was better than all of them as a former Universal Champion. It came as a huge surprise when John Cena returned to confront Rollins, after taking a few months off to recover from his hellacious Iron Man match with Daniel Bryan at The Bash. Cena tore Rollins to shreds on the mic, insulting everything from his physical appearance to his in-ring style, earning massive cheers from the fans, a stark departure from the abject hatred Cena had received during his feud with Bryan. Embarrassed and bitter, Rollins lashed out, assaulting Cena in the parking lot the following week, leaving his mark on the "Doctor of Thuganomics", who was busted open after his head was smashed off a car door. These two former world champions will collide at Halloween Havoc, and with plenty of ego and pride at stake, who emerges victorious?

Rusev(c) vs Finn Balor- Intercontinental Championship Match

Finn Balor earned this title shot thanks in part to his Balor Club, but Gallows and Anderson's failure to bring home the tag belts drew his ire. As the champion began issues with the New Day, his next challenger became a possibly even more controversial figure. Despite how loyal Luke and Karl have been, Finn Balor focused purely on tangible success, of which they have had almost none. After Gallows and Anderson came up short against the War Raiders, Balor turned on his followers, stomping away at a downed Karl Anderson, before hitting Luke Gallows with a low blow and the Coup de Grace. Balor seemed incredibly satisfied to rid of what he called "500 pounds of dead weight", but he could've used backup when Rusev came calling. The Intercontinental Champion let his challenger know where his attention should lie, devastating Balor with a Brute Bomb through the announce table. That was just five nights ago, and Finn Balor is certainly nowhere near 100 percent, now has absolutely no allies and will be left at the mercy of Rusev.

Bayley vs Nikki Cross- No Holds Barred

The next woman to have her eye on Sasha Banks was Nikki Cross, who began to play mind games with the champ. Nikki did everything possible to mess with both Sasha and her best friend Bayley, including a vicious backstage attack on Banks that saw the champ be laid out with a DDT on Edge's desk. But Nikki's mental manipulations weren't enough to overcome the numbers game, as Bayley caused just enough of a distraction to help Sasha retain during the title match. From there, a feud between Cross and Bayley developed, that saw Nikki take a knife to Bayley's inflatable tube men, destroying all of them. Bayley has been more aggressive than ever before, and responded by attacking Cross backstage, hitting her with a Bayley to Belly on top of a limousine. Sensing hostilities were only going to escalate, Edge books a No Holds Barred match between the two, and to ensure that the grudge will be settled, Sasha will be banned from ringside.

Sami Zayn(c) vs The Undertaker- WWE Championship Match

Coming out of Summerslam, Sami Zayn had dispatched of Daniel Bryan, with the "American Dragon" indefinitely sidelined, but now had a new target on his back. CM Punk had returned, now signed to SmackDown, and made his intentions very clear, as he had returned to Universe Mode to finally become a world champion. Defeating Zayn to prove who the true "Best in the World" really is was just icing on the cake, and Punk would quickly get his chance. But in what promised to be a great title match to headline SmackDown on September 24th, both men would be in for a huge surprise, as The Undertaker arrived to kick some a**! "The Phenom" sent bodies flying everywhere, and now he set his sights on the WWE Championship as well. With a messy title picture to take care of, Edge faced pressure from all sides. He initially decided to give Punk the title shot, but after one visit from The Undertaker, suddenly Punk and 'Taker were facing off in a number one contender's match. But in that match, Sami Zayn would cause chaos, interfering and suddenly attacking Undertaker, which disqualified Punk! Zayn couldn't hide his smug grin, as he had maneuvered his way out of fighting Punk, but may have put himself into even more danger. Now The Undertaker sought vengeance against the WWE Champion, and he got it on the go home show, hitting Zayn with two Last Rides! Can Zayn survive the trap of his own making, or will "The Phenom" claim his first world championship in Universe Mode?

American Dad "Twinanigans" Review

It's been a while since the last Steve and Roger episode, and this week reminded me why that's such a classic American Dad pairing. This is a genuinely fun episode, filled with some great one liners and even a great callback to the show's past. "Twinanigans" centers around the heretofore unmentioned acting careers of Roger and Steve, who twinned it up as the Smith Brothers. I'm not going to question whether this backstory actually makes sense to the overall timeline; no one watches American Dad for continuity. Steve had to give up acting to attend kindergarten, and wants to give Roger a second chance at greatness. The two head to auditions, where Steve impresses and Roger blows it. It's here the episode kinda misfires, as it's never made abundantly clear why Roger struggles so much at acting. Is he just trying too hard, does he have some form of stage fright, does he not even know what acting is? This part of the story is just never explained, w...

Curious Crab

One Monday night my mom looked into my crabitat and found that a crab had climbed into one of my fake trees. It was in the top branch. I looked in later, and found that the crab had fallen out of the tree. I hope he is okay. What a day!

The Route of Life

dedicated to my hermits, who changed my life Ch 1 My Hermit crabs Hermit crabs are sometimes hard to take care of. Especially when you never had a hermit. Last Sunday afternoon I got 2 Hermit crabs. Their names are Crabbe and Goyle. I have talked with many sales people. The first Petco we went to (where we got the hermits and their things) seemed to have no idea on the subject. So we ended up going to Dolphin Pet Village. They were more experience at the subject. Now we have some of the things we will need. Last week, I went to a second Petco. There we got a cuttlebone, which is the bone of a fish. Now they look happy. Have a good day Hermit Crabs! Ch 2 Curious Crab The week before last week, my mom looked into my crabitat and found that one of my crabs had climbed one of my fake trees. It was on the top branch. Later, when I was changing to get ready for bed, the crab fell out of his branch. I hope he is okay. He’s definitely starting to look okay. How funny do you think that story is...
