Leaping Girl gets her best shot to play catch up this week, as she prepares to face the juggernaut known as Rare Woofs. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)
Tug of War
Current Record: (2-6, 6th place)
A tough season doesn't get any easier this week for Tug of War, as top receivers Michael Thomas and Cooper Kupp are on bye. They at least get Dak Prescott back, and return Derrick Henry to the starting lineup in the flex spot. Their 2nd starting receiver behind Chris Godwin will be Allen Robinson, who has been solid despite the struggles of Mitchell Trubisky and faces a beatable Eagles secondary. They drop last week's stream, Jared Goff, to pick up a new backup tight end in Jimmy Graham, and bring in Jason Myers for Matt Prater, as he starts in place of Greg Zuerlein and gets set to face the Buccaneers.
Week 9 Starting Lineup(vs Ridiculous Rascals)
QB Dak Prescott
RB Saquon Barkley
RB Leonard Fournette
WR Chris Godwin
WR Allen Robinson
TE Zach Ertz
RB Derrick Henry
K Jason Myers
DEF Chicago Bears
Ridiculous Rascals
Current Record: (3-5, 5th place)
It has been a really, really rough two weeks for Rascal, who's lack of depth and lack of talent has shown in two losses that have dropped him into fifth. He gets a chance to bounce back against last place Tug of War, and gets back Ezekiel Elliott from his bye week. He may also get back Adam Thielen, which is good timing as Julio Jones is on bye. Rascal brings Thielen into his starting lineup, but should he miss this game, Rascal does have two backups in Golden Tate and Sammy Watkins. He drops the banged up Matt Breida to pick up Jordan Howard, who goes right into the starting lineup, replacing Sony Michel. That being said, if James Conner is able to play this week, Howard will head to the bench. Finally, Rascal gets the Panthers defense to start this week, as they were beaten down by the 49ers last week but do have a good chance to rebound at home against the Titans.
Week 9 Starting Lineup(vs Tug of War)
QB Aaron Rodgers
RB Ezekiel Elliott
RB Marlon Mack
WR Adam Thielen
WR John Brown
TE Darren Waller
RB Jordan Howard
K Robbie Gould
DEF Carolina Panthers
Bark Force
Current Record: (3-5, 4th place)
Just a couple moves for Bark Force this week, both on the bench, as they dropped Brandin Cooks to add D.J. Moore and dropped last week's streamer Mason Crosby to add David Montgomery. Justin Tucker returns to the starting lineup, and they'll start the Bills defense this week as they host the one win Redskins. Finally, they prepare for this weekend still without star QB Patrick Mahomes. Should Mahomes be able to return this week, they could face a tough decision as Matthew Stafford squares off with an extremely soft Raiders defense.
Week 9 Starting Lineup(vs Tailwaggerz)
QB Matthew Stafford
RB Aaron Jones
RB Nick Chubb
WR DeAndre Hopkins
WR Tyler Lockett
TE Hunter Henry
WR Stefon Diggs

Tailwaggerz
Current Record: (4-4, 3rd place)
Tailwaggerz are severely short handed this week, with Alvin Kamara on bye and David Johnson either injured and unplayable against the 49ers defense. They turn to former starter Odell Beckham in the hopes he can turn his season around, and drop Larry Fitzgerald to pick up D.K. Metcalf. They also will bring in the Eagles defense for the Ravens, as Philly will host the struggling Bears offense while Baltimore squares off with New England.
UPDATE: With T.Y. Hilton out this week and potentially long term, Tailwaggerz has acted quickly, dropping the Saints defense to bring back Jaylen Samuels, who will likely start this week for the Steelers with James Conner doubtful.
Week 9 Starting Lineup(vs Bark Force)
QB Deshaun Watson
RB Chris Carson
RB Josh Jacobs
WR Tyreek Hill
WR Odell Beckham
TE Evan Engram
RB Jaylen Samuels

Leaping Girl
Current Record: (5-3, 2nd place)
This could be the best shot any team has at stopping Rare Woofs this year, as Emma could pull just one game behind with a win this week. She brings back Phillip Lindsay to her starting lineup, as Denver could run the ball a lot with the inexperienced Brandon Allen at the helm. She will also tentatively list Keenan Allen as a starter this week, but she could start Austin Ekeler instead should Allen be out or limited against Green Bay.
Week 9 Starting Lineup(vs Rare Woofs)
QB Russell Wilson
RB Le'Veon Bell
RB Phillip Lindsay
WR Mike Evans
WR D.J. Chark
TE George Kittle
WR Keenan Allen
K Zane Gonzalez

Rare Woofs
Current Record: (7-1, 1st place)
This team has done some incredible things this year, and seems to somehow be getting stronger every single week. This week, they get back Amari Cooper, who sends JuJu Smith-Schuster to the bench. Wil Lutz is on bye, so Joey Slye gets the start this week but does face a tough matchup against the Titans. Just looking at the bench of Rare Woofs gives you an idea of their insane depth, as JuJu, Tevin Coleman and Courtland Sutton could easily be starters on another team. There's also Davante Adams, who could be returning this week but likely won't be a starter for Rare Woofs, as Kenny Golladay faces the Raiders.
Week 9 Starting Lineup(vs Leaping Girl)
QB Tom Brady
RB Dalvin Cook
RB Christian McCaffrey
