Following the events of Unforgiven, the WWE Board of Directors wanted to fire Nia Jax, who was already suspended due to her actions. However, champion Trish Stratus requested that Nia stay on Raw, wanting more competition. So, at the Season 1 Finale of Raw on October 24th, Trish Stratus will defend her belt in a triple threat match against Chyna and Nia Jax.
Tonight on Raw, we will see a preview of that match when Trish Stratus takes on Chyna in a non-title rematch. The Intercontinental Title is on the line in the main event, and the Shield are in a six man tag match, with their opposition featuring Brock Lesnar. Let's get to it.

Shawn Michaels vs Baron Corbin
HBK was reportedly furious when he saw Baron Corbin help CM Punk retain the Intercontinental Title, believing that Corbin was loyal to him. Corbin, for his part, maintained that he only helps people who pay him, and Michaels was no longer paying him for his services. Shawn demanded to face Corbin on Raw, and GM Paul Heyman obliged.
Although Michaels tried to fight against it, Corbin's raw power was a major difference. The Lone Wolf controlled the entire match, and although Shawn showed his resilience by kicking out of the End of Days, he couldn't string any offense together. He tried the last trick in his playbook, but Corbin got out of the way of the Sweet Chin Music, connecting on a second End of Days to score an impressive victory, the biggest of his career thus far.
Winner: Baron Corbin
Trish Stratus vs Chyna
With the news that these two will compete in a triple threat match at the Raw Season Finale, this Summerslam rematch took on extra importance. Both women picked up right where they left off, brawling and exchanging big maneuvers, keeping the Raw fans on the edge of their seat. A big DDT from Chyna connected early, before Trish fought back with a Stratusfaction, neither move managing to get the job done. They brawled to the outside, and Chyna's strength came into play, as the Ninth Wonder of the World controlled the Women's Champion. A big Gorilla Press slam finally put Trish away, as Chyna scored a big victory over the champ, gaining momentum heading into the triple threat match for the belt.
Winner: Chyna
The Shield vs Brock Lesnar and The Outsiders
Paul Heyman offered any team that would partner with his client in this match a title shot at the season finale, and Kevin Nash and Scott Hall quickly accepted. This was as chaotic a match as advertised, with all six men hitting big signature moves, one after another. Seth Rollins was the clear star, though, flying high several times and bring the crowd to their feet time after time. The Shield's teamwork led them to control the pace of the match, but when no one was looking, Paul Heyman came running to ringside, holding a steel chair. He slid it into the ring, and Brock Lesnar executed a beautiful german suplex onto Roman Reigns, with Roman hitting his head on the chair. The ref never noticed this, and Lesnar escaped with another win, leaving the Hounds of Justice seething in the ring.
Winners: Brock Lesnar and The Outsiders
CM Punk(c) vs Rusev- Intercontinental Title Match
The Bulgarian Brute earned a big win over Kurt Angle at Unforgiven, impressing Heyman enough to offer him this championship opportunity. Punk came out firing with strikes, but was quickly shut down by the challenger. Rusev then dominated the match, picking Punk apart with ferocious kick and tremendous power, stunning the champion. A big jumping side kick nearly put Punk away, and sent the Straight Edge Superstar reeling to the outside. In an act of cowardice, he picked up a steel chair, rolled back into the ring, and clobbered Rusev with it, causing a disqualification and escaping once more with his belt.
However, before Punk could exit the ring, he was attacked by Shawn Michaels, disgusted at Punk's cheap title retention. He connected with a Sweet Chin Music on the Intercontinental Champion, before he was blindsided by the man who defeated him to open Raw, Baron Corbin. Corbin hit another End of Days on HBK, before picking up the Intercontinental Title and cracking it over the skull of CM Punk, who was just starting to rise. The Lone Wolf, with Punk's belt in hand, stood tall to close this episode of Raw.
Winner: Rusev
As a result of the chaos that closed Raw, the Board of Directors has announced another match for the Raw Season Finale: a fatal four way match for the Intercontinental Title, featuring Shawn Michaels, Rusev, Baron Corbin and champion CM Punk. The season finale of Raw is already shaping up to be a massive event, but the Board of Directors wasn't done, announcing that Brock Lesnar will be defending his World Heavyweight Title against the returning Bray Wyatt.
