Kevin Owens(c) vs John Cena- United States Title Match
Neither man held back, opening the match with a wild flurry of fists. It was Cena who capitalized early, locking Owens into the STF, but the champ escaped with a sly eye poke. Owens dumped Cena to the floor, before following it up with a beautiful diving suicide dive. Owens, in all his self confidence, went for a second but missed, busting himself open on the steel floor. Cena rolled the US Champ back into the ring before unleashing on a volley of rights and lefts, opening the cut on KO's forehead. All seemed to be over for Owens as Cena prepared to put him away with the AA. Owens countered with a knee off the skull, before capitalizing with a big Pop-Up Powerbomb to retain his title. Kevin Owens stood tall in the ring, blood streaming down his face, United States Title on his shoulder, having proven that he is that damn good.
Winner and still United States Champion: Kevin Owens
CM Punk(c) vs Baron Corbin vs Rusev vs Shawn Michaels- Intercontinental Title Match
Rusev, having taken a lot of damage in the tag match involving these four men two weeks ago, immediately focused on Shawn Michaels, looking to even their score. This left Punk and Corbin, the former teammates, to face each other. All four men brawled outside the ring, with a steel chair and steel steps both getting involved. HBK nearly won it with a Sweet Chin Music, but Punk stopped him and then connected with a GTS, getting a narrow near fall. Both Punk and Michaels ate big kicks from Rusev, but the Lone Wolf capitalized, as Baron Corbin caught Rusev with a big End of Days onto a chair to become the new Intercontinental Champion, finally end CM Punk's reign of terror.
Winner and the NEW Intercontinental Champion: Baron Corbin
A Wyatt Family Meeting
The challenger for the World Heavyweight Title, Bray Wyatt, arranged a meeting with his disciples, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Wyatt demanded that Harper and Rowan forget their squabbles and focus on making sure he is victorious later tonight. Harper responded by saying that he and Rowan have their own issues to work through. At least for now, they have no intention of getting involved.
The Shield(c) vs The Outsiders- World Tag Team Title Match
The champs looked confident to retain their belts, with a man advantage as Seth Rollins stood by, watching from ringside. Doubts started to creep in early though, as Nash and Hall dominated both Reigns and Ambrose. The Hounds of Justice quickly found themselves fighting from behind, and doing it quite well, as Reigns' power began to turn the tide. Ambrose, not content standing by, wanted in and requested the tag. This turned out to be a horrible mistake, as Nash and Hall dominated the smaller Ambrose, An impressive backbreaker/elbow drop combination connected on Dean, and the crowd sat in stunned silence as the ref counted to 3, signifying the end of the Shield's reign on dominance.
After the match, Reigns and Ambrose got into it. Reigns clearly blamed Ambrose for taking the fall, and the two nearly came to blow. Rollins separated the two, but the first cracks started to appear in The Shield, the now former World Tag Team Champions.
Winners and the NEW World Tag Team Champions: The Outsiders
Trish Stratus(c) vs Chyna vs Nia Jax- WWE Women's Title Match
All three women were looking for big moves early, and very quickly the ring resembled a junkyard. Chairs, slegehammers, kendo sticks and more, just strewn throughout the ring, with two tables smashed into a million pieces on the outside. The question became who could survive the chaos, who could survive the punishment. It looked like Chyna was closing in on another women's title reign, bringing champion Trish Stratus crashing to the mat with a vicious DDT. Before she could capitalize, Nia Jax took advantage, knocking down Chyna before delivering back to back big leg drops. Nia then covered Trish, taking home her second WWE Women's Title.
Winner and the NEW WWE Women's Champion: Nia Jax
Brock Lesnar(c) vs Bray Wyatt- World Heavyweight Title Match
The Eater of Worlds, Bray Wyatt, entered this match was no back-up and no excuses. This match was a war of attrition, with each man throwing their best shot and surviving their opponent's best maneuvers. Lesnar threw suplex after suplex at Wyatt, but Bray survived each and every one, continuing to get to his feet and gamely fight on. Wyatt even looked in control once or twice, before Lesnar sent him crashing to the mat with a F-5. Even that was not enough, and an enraged champion busted Bray open with big right hands. He looked for a second F-5, but Bray countered into a Sister Abigail, which may have won the match, but Raw GM Paul Heyman got involved. Wyatt got right in Heyman's face, yelling furiously. The ploy from Heyman was enough, as a rattled Wyatt walked straight into a second F-5, as the champion retained his title.
After the match, Lesnar and Heyman toasted to vanquishing of another challenger, when Shane McMahon's music hit. The crowd erupted as The Boy Wonder made his way down to the ring. He greeted the crowd, before addressing Paul Heyman. For months, Heyman has been running Raw into the ground, allowing and encouraging chaos and making sure Brock Lesnar kept hold of the World Heavyweight Title. Well, that ends now. The WWE Board of Directors has announced that, effective immediately, Paul Heyman has been fired from his role as Raw General Manager! As for his replacement, the Board of Directors could think of no better man than Shane himself to take the role. As Heyman and Lesnar looked stunned in the ring, the new General Manager of Raw, Shane McMahon, departed up the ramp.
Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion: Brock Lesnar
