Following last week's attack, United States Champion Chris Jericho made a challenge on Twitter over the weekend. He wants to settle things with Kevin Owens the way all Americans settle their issues: a Street Fight, for the United States Championship! The challenge has been accepted, and the match made official.
Tonight, Seth Rollins looks for revenge as he faces Austin Aries in an Extreme Rules match. Plus, Dolph Ziggler hosts an open challenge, Paige prepares for Asuka and American Alpha put their championships on the line. And to open the show, Finn Balor takes on Braun Strowman.

Finn Balor vs Braun Strowman
We opened the show in a big way, as Finn Balor made his signature entrance, ready to take on Braun Strowman. The Monster Among Men had other ideas, ambushing Balor on the stage. It was a brutal beatdown, as Finn was laid out with two big powerslams for daring to cross Strowman.
American Alpha(c) vs #DIY- Raw Tag Team Championship Match
The champs promised to wrestle this match straight up, but almost no one believed them. Early on, they actually did wrestle a fair match, and it was clear Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa were just a better tag team. DIY came very close to winning the championships multiple times, and that's when Gable and Jordan decided to cause a little chaos. Gable entered the match illegally, giving the champions a man advantage. They destroyed the challengers gameplan, and connected with a Grand Amplitude to Gargano to get the win.
After the match, a clearly unhappy Tommaso Ciampa confronted his tag team partner. They had a brief argument, before Ciampa left in a huff.
Winners and still Raw Tag Team Champions: American Alpha
Paige vs Sasha Banks
This was a big opportunity for the recently returned Sasha Banks, as she faced the number one contender Paige. Both of these women have serious mean streaks, and their mutual passion to be the best made this a very stiff match. It would be the Legit Boss who would send shockwaves throughout the women's division, when she caught Paige with a Bankrupt neckbreaker to pin the number one contender to the Raw Women's Championship.
Winner: Sasha Banks
Dolph Ziggler vs ???
The Show-Off was in for a tough test, as his open challenge was answered by the debuting Jinder Mahal. The Modern Day Maharajah showed off his power, tossing around Ziggler right after the bell had rung. Quickly, we were in for a fight, as neither man backed down. This turned into an incredible match, as both survived some of their opponents best shots. Dolph showed his resiliency when he kicked out of the Khallas, but he was topped when Mahal got the shoulder up after a Zig Zag. The match continued, as Ziggler looked more and more desperate to put things away. It finally looked to be over when Jinder ate a superkick, but he had enough wherewithal to get his foot to the bottom rope. In the end, Mahal countered another superkick into a small package, and held the tights to get the win. A poor ending to a fantastic match.
That wasn't it for Jinder Mahal, though, as he got on the mic following the match. He stated that for too long, Raw had been led by mere peasants, guys like Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn and Finn Balor. Jinder Mahal is the Modern Day Maharajah, true royalty, and he has come to lead Raw to new heights. Monday Nights now have a rightful ruler and a role model for all to look up to.
Winner: Jinder Mahal
Austin Aries vs Seth Rollins- Extreme Rules Match
This was a blood feud, stemming from last week, when Austin Aries hit Seth Rollins with a steel chair. The number one contender to the Universal Championship was in a foul mood, attacking Aries with a chair of his own right off the bat. These two men brawled all over ringside, exchanging shots with weapons with pure venom. A Double showed his brutish side, as the self-proclaimed "hottest item on Raw" got nasty, opening Seth up with vicious right hands. It was all Rollins could do just to keep fighting, but he soldiered on. It was nearly over following a Braibuster from Aries onto another steel chair, but he took to much time getting to the cover. It was the daredevil style of the Architect that was the difference, as he flew off of a ladder to take down Aries. He then delivered two Seth Walkers outside of the ring, one through an announce table, before rolling Aries back into the ring. He connected with a Phoenix Splash for good measure, getting revenge and proving he is ready for Samoa Joe.
Winner: Seth Rollins
