For the first time since capturing the NXT Championship at Takeover: Chicago, Hideo Itami is in action as he faces the debuting Adam Cole in our main event. Drew McIntyre looks for momentum against Andrade Almas, plus William Regal has a special announcement about the situation with Ricochet and Apollo Crews.

Drew McIntyre vs Andrade Almas
The Sinister Scotsman Drew McIntyre may have come up short in the NXT Championship Tournament, but he proved why he is a highly dangerous competitor against Andrade Almas. El Idolo threw his best shots, but couldn't match the power and intensity of McIntyre, who put things away with a Future Shock DDT. That wasn't enough for Drew, though, as he locked in the Iron Maiden crossface after the bell had rung to send a message.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
William Regal Promo
The NXT General Manager had big news for us regarding Ricochet and Apollo Crews. Next week, those two men will go one on one. The winner will receive a title match of their choosing, while the loser must leave NXT for good.
Adam Cole vs Hideo Itami
Adam Cole had a lot of expectations to live up to, as William Regal gave him a match with the NXT Champion in his debut. Both Cole and this match didn't disappoint, as these two men stole the show. The early portion of the match saw Cole and Itami size each other up, engaging in a back and forth technical affair. The tone of the match changed when Cole dropped Itami right on his head on the outside of the ring. There quickly grew to be some bad blood between the International Sensation and the Panama City Playboy, as they beat the tar out of each other. Hideo opened Cole up with his tremendous strikes, and Adam Cole would wear the crimson mask by the end of the match. Try as he might, the new NXT Champion just couldn't put the match away, as even the Busaiku Knee couldn't get the three count. Cole played possum, choosing the most opportune time to strike with the Florida Key and score the shocking win, pinning the champ on his debut.
Winner: Adam Cole
