My Backlash 2017 Predictions

In which, holy sh**, Jinder Mahal in main eventing a pay-per-view!

Pre-Show- Tye Dillinger vs Aiden English

My Prediction: 10, 10, 10

As much as I love Aiden English and everything he represents, Tye is clearly a much bigger star.

Baron Corbin vs Sami Zayn

My Prediction: Sami's gonna sell that End of Days

As much as SmackDown could build Sami as a legit main eventer, now is certainly not the time for that. It looks like Corbin may well be the next WWE Champion, so he needs the win.

Luke Harper vs Erick Rowan

My Prediction: It's Backlash, you know what that means...

It means it's high time Luke Harper finally started getting built as a major face. He had all the momentum in the world back in February, and they killed it off. A big win here could help solidify Harper as a solid upper midcarder, and he could have great matches with guys like Corbin and KO.

Naomi, Charlotte and Becky Lynch vs The Welcoming Committee

My Prediction: Why would you trust a Flair?

Like, why? Any Flair is a danger to turn on you at any time, and Charlotte's already done it plenty of times on the main roster. Also, the Welcoming Committee is the literally the dumbest name for a group I've ever heard.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match- The Usos vs Breezango

My Prediction: Those damn Usos

Our saviors Tyler Breeze and Fandango have arrived to save us from the doldrums of SmackDown's tag team division, and this should be a very entertaining match. Long term, it Breezango are going to win the belts, they probably aren't going to do it here, as there would likely be more of a build.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Dolph Ziggler

My Prediction: A tiny violin plays for the Show-Off

One of these guys has his face on all the marketing for this event, and the other is Dolph Ziggler.

United States Championship Match- Kevin Owens vs AJ Styles

My Prediction: God Bless America

SmackDown's struggles in recent weeks have been well documented, and this feud is a good reason why. First of all, two main eventers fighting for a mid-card title very rarely works. Chris Jericho's win at Payback really hampered this rivalry as well, as they had to put things on hold for a few weeks. Last, things just haven't been that interesting. It's a very paint by numbers type feud, with nothing really standing out. It's a shame- this is a dream match for a lot of fans, and there just isn't very much interest.

WWE Championship Match- Randy Orton vs Jinder Mahal

My Prediction: Jinder ain't diving

This match, on the other hand, has been completely over shadowed by Randy's Twitter antics. Ultimately, I don't think Jinder winning here makes much sense, especially with guys like Corbin and Rusev waiting in the wings, so I say he eats an RKO.

I didn't have a lot of interest in SmackDown to begin with, and this event likely won't do a lot to change my mind. Still, I'll be watching live, so we'll see if the blue brand can pull a rabbit out of its hat.

Henry's Universe Mode: 2017 WWE Draft

We are here today to conduct the first ever WWE Draft, where Raw and SmackDown competitors will learn the fates heading into Season 3 of Henry's Universe Mode. Rules -Each brand will have five draft picks, ten picks total. -Champions are not eligible to be drafted. -Tag teams/stables can be drafted as a unit or individuals, depending on what the GM wants and what the wrestler wants. -Thanks to winning Brand Warfare, SmackDown will get the first pick, while Raw will get the last pick. The 2017 WWE Draft begins..........right now! Pick #1- SmackDown selects Brock Lesnar What a way to start of the draft, as the Beast Incarnate in heading to Tuesday Nights. Since losing to Samoa Joe a few weeks ago on Raw, we haven't seen anything from Brock Lesnar. This move will certainly have most of the SmackDown roster looking over their shoulder. ...

Latest Update on new puppy

As you may well know from my mom's posts, there is a handsome puppy in the house. His name is Rascal, which appropriately fits him. Before Tuesday, he'd never had much problem with the crate, something I found interesting. He'd also never experienced anxiety issues when people came and left. Then yesterday, my dad and I were standing in the driveway organizing things for a trip to Goodwill. All of a sudden, Rascal freaked out. Some history behind the newest member of our family. Rascal was a stray in Hollister, when CARE, a rescue organization, found him. At this time Rascal was estimated to be about 2 months old, the age of a puppy when you first get them. He went to another family, who had him for quite a while, around 5 months. Then, without explanation, this family moved to Ohio, surrendering Rascal. CARE once again had him and his crazy antics for about a month. Rascal's name was changed to Boots in his time with CARE, but he wouldn't answer to that name. He ...

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
