Kevin Owens vs Seth Rollins

You could tell that Seth Rollins was working injured here tonight after his war last week with Austin Aries, as it was all Kevin Owens from the beginning. The self-proclaimed "Face of America" brutalized Rollins with big strikes to the ribs. You can never count the Architect out, though, as Rollins rallied with his aerial assault. He had just enough strength left to deliver the Gourdbuster GTS, as the vicious knee to the temple got the job done.

An enraged Kevin Owens wasn't going to take this loss lightly, as he jumped Seth after the bell. He delivered a Pop-Up Powerbomb to make a statement, leaving Rollins in a bad way heading into his Steel Cage match.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Becky Lynch vs Asuka

Late last week, Shane McMahon announced that the Raw Women's Championship match at Extreme Rules will now be a triple threat match, with Sasha Banks added to the mix. Asuka, clearly focused on her challenge this Sunday, took some offense throughout this match. She fought back to apply an Asuka Lock, but still Becky survived. The Irish Lass-Kicker fought with fire on this night, but was finally put out with a second devastating Asuka Lock.

After the match, it would be Sasha Banks that made her mark. The Legit Boss jumped Asuka and locked in the Bank Statement to stand tall, though Asuka may now be more dangerous than ever.

Winner: Asuka

Finn Balor Makes a Challenge

After getting brutally attacked last week by Braun Strowman, Finn Balor laid down the gauntlet. He will face Strowman once more this Sunday, this time in an Extreme Rules Match. Although Braun has been utterly dominant, Balor promises to take him down at Extreme Rules, and bring something Strowman has never seen before....

Matt Hardy vs Jason Jordan

This was a dominant display by one half of the Raw Tag Team Champions, as he picked apart Matt Hardy, who seemed more interested in playing to the crowd. It was a one-sided, brutal affair, that finally came to a merciful end when Jason Jordan delivered an Olympic Slam. If the Hardy Boyz wish to become champions this Sunday, they will have to have a gameplan for Jordan.

Winner: Jason Jordan

Chris Jericho vs Samoa Joe

Anytime you see champions face off, it is a big deal, and both Chris Jericho and Samoa Joe are among the best competitors on Monday Nights. This was an even match at the start, neither man willing to take any big chances. A slower pace favored the Universal Champion, who looked crisp, picking Jericho apart. Y2J rallied like only he can, using his years of experience to catch Joe with a powerbomb and then locking in the Walls of Jericho. He just didn't have the strength to quite get the hold in, and Joe scrambled out. From there, the Samoan Submission Machine delivered his own big powerbomb, following up with his own double leg Boston Crab, turning Jericho inside and out and getting the tap out win.

Winner: Samoa Joe

Since losing to Samoa Joe a few weeks ago on Raw, we haven't seen anything from Brock Lesnar. This move will certainly have most of the SmackDown roster looking over their shoulder. ...

Latest Update on new puppy

As you may well know from my mom's posts, there is a handsome puppy in the house. His name is Rascal, which appropriately fits him. Before Tuesday, he'd never had much problem with the crate, something I found interesting. He'd also never experienced anxiety issues when people came and left. Then yesterday, my dad and I were standing in the driveway organizing things for a trip to Goodwill. All of a sudden, Rascal freaked out. Some history behind the newest member of our family. Rascal was a stray in Hollister, when CARE, a rescue organization, found him. At this time Rascal was estimated to be about 2 months old, the age of a puppy when you first get them. He went to another family, who had him for quite a while, around 5 months. Then, without explanation, this family moved to Ohio, surrendering Rascal. CARE once again had him and his crazy antics for about a month. Rascal's name was changed to Boots in his time with CARE, but he wouldn't answer to that name. He ...

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...
