With the release of WWE 2k17 just a few weeks away, I'm sure many of you will be wondering what the plans for Universe Mode going forward are. Near the end of October, there will be a season finale event, the last post of what I'm calling Henry's Universe Mode: Season 1. At the beginning of November, Universe Mode content will resume, this time under the name Henry's Universe Mode: Season 2. I'll be taking this opportunity to clean out my rosters, removing some of the dead weight, guys who aren't appearing often, and replacing them with new superstars, male and female. Universe Mode content will continue to stay the same for now, and I'll be going through all my posts to apply the new tags, as appropriate.
It's been a while since the last Steve and Roger episode, and this week reminded me why that's such a classic American Dad pairing. This is a genuinely fun episode, filled with some great one liners and even a great callback to the show's past. "Twinanigans" centers around the heretofore unmentioned acting careers of Roger and Steve, who twinned it up as the Smith Brothers. I'm not going to question whether this backstory actually makes sense to the overall timeline; no one watches American Dad for continuity. Steve had to give up acting to attend kindergarten, and wants to give Roger a second chance at greatness. The two head to auditions, where Steve impresses and Roger blows it. It's here the episode kinda misfires, as it's never made abundantly clear why Roger struggles so much at acting.
