Following the events of last week's edition of NXT, GM William Regal officially announced the formation of a new group, the United Kingdom. Regal claimed that the United Kingdom is here to serve and protect NXT, and deliver the brand to new heights. Regal then retired the NXT Television Title, saying that NXT needed a new look, bringing in the European Title. In the interest of "fairness" he offered the last NXT Television Champion, EC3, the first shot at the belt, against the United Kingdom's newest member. He also signed quite a few big matches for this episode, including a big main event as Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryan take on himself and Bad News Barrett.

The New Day vs Prime Time Players- Extreme Rules Match for #1 Contendership to the NXT Tag Team Titles
This was a big opening match, as both teams looked to finally settle their score, and to keep things even, The New Day's Xavier Woods was banned from ringside. Despite the loss of their man advantage, Big E and Kofi still seemed right in their element. What seemed like a competitive match turned into a New Day domination, and after some crunching offense, the Midnight Hour connected on Titus, putting the big man through a table. Kofi got the cover, and The New Day earned a title shot next week against Gallows and Anderson.
Winners: The New Day
EC3 vs ???- European Title Match
Regal promised that the newest member of the United Kingdom would unveil himself in the match for the new European Title against EC3. The NXT fans were in for a shock, when EC3's opponent arrived- the Man That Gravity Forgot, Neville, accompanied to the ring by Regal himself.
Perhaps it was due to the surprise of seeing Neville, a man who had been off NXT for several months, but EC3, coming in undefeated, was completely dominated. Neville showed off his power and high flying, with William Regal cheering him on from ringside. A Red Arrow seemed to have put EC3 out, but the Ass Kicking Machine showed his resiliency with a kick out. Unfortunately, this act couldn't spark a turn around, and Neville stayed all over EC3, debuting a new maneuver, a deadlift german suplex, that got him the victory and his first championship in Universe Mode, ending EC3's unbeaten record.
Winner and the NEW European Champion: Neville
The Dirty Heels vs The Usos
Two new tag teams made their debuts on NXT, as the team of Austin Aries and Bobby Roode took on The Usos. Aries and Roode worked simple, effective tag team maneuvers, isolating and picking apart each Uso. They controlled the match, and earned the victory when Jimmy Uso whiffed on a superkick and Aries locked in a Last Chancery.
Winners: The Dirty Heels
Sasha Banks vs Emma
William Regal made this match, attempting to determine if Emma was ready for a NXT Women's Title shot. Regal, once again in the interest of "fairness", banned Sasha's friend Bayley from ringside, but did not ban Emma's protege Alexa Bliss. Emma controlled most of the match, limiting Sasha from getting too much offense in. Despite that, Sasha managed to lock in the Bank Statement, catching Emma by surprise, and might've won then and there, but Alexa Bliss got involved and distracted the referee. Emma continued to control the match, nearly winning it off a diving crossbody, but Sasha got the shoulder up just in time. Furious, Emma then attempted another pin, this time with her feet on the ropes, and managed to cheat her way to a win.
After the match, we got word that Emma will challenge for Bayley's NXT Women's Title, next week on a championship edition of NXT.
Winner: Emma
Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryan vs The United Kingdom
Regal and Barrett were not alone for this main event match, as they were accompanied to the ring by new European Champion Neville, who's presence seemed to unsettle his former friend, Sami Zayn.
The United Kingdom worked very well as a tag team, controlling the pace of the match and not allowing their opponents to get the high flying moves in. Frequent tags kept momentum in their corner, and they took advantage, nearly ending the match several times. Zayn and Bryan were not about to lay down, and they fought back with a flurry, concentrating on the slower Regal. A Yes Lock from Bryan appeared to have the match won, but Barrett took out the ref just as Regal tapped, keeping the match alive. Regal made the tag to Barrett, and it came down to Zayn and Barrett, with Bryan and Regal brawling on the outside. The man at ringside, Neville, played a key role, as he distracted Zayn, getting in his former partner's face, both men yelling at each other. Barrett took advantage, blasting Zayn with a Bull Hammer to the back of Sami's head to pick up the win.
After the match, the United Kingdom's celebration was cut short by the arrival of the NXT Champion, Samoa Joe. The Samoan Submission Machine let it known that next week, he wants to face his number one contender, Bad News Barrett, head on, and he's willing to put his championship on the line. Regal accepted the challenge, and a massive match was added to next week's card.
Winners: The United Kingdom
Next week is a special championship edition of NXT, with the NXT Tag Team and Women's Titles on the line, and the NXT Championship to be decided in the main event. Stick around for that and much more.
