Sasha Banks vs AJ Lee
The Boss of NXT, Sasha Banks, was undefeated entering her biggest test yet in former Diva's Champ AJ Lee. AJ proved why she is a former champion, hitting some very impressive moves in the early going. A spinning heel kick from AJ nearly won her the match, and this caused Sasha to reconsider her strategy. Sasha used her ring savvy to catch AJ with the Bank Statement, though it wasn't enough to get the job done. AJ shocked Sasha, pulling a new move out of her arsenal, an Indian Deathlock, that Sasha couldn't find a way out of, forcing the Boss to tap and putting AJ in line for a potential title opportunity.
Winner: AJ Lee
Rikishi and Haku vs The Briscoes
Raw's Briscoes were in action here on Main Event, taking on one of NXT's newest teams, the pairing of Rikishi and Haku. The power of Rikishi won out early on, taking out both of the Briscoe Brothers. However, Jay and Mark figured out a new plan, tagging and out frequently and trying to use the numbers game, which had some success. Rikishi and Haku caught on quickly, and isolated Jay, trapping him in the wrong corner. A Samoan Driver from Rikishi seemed to have put the match away, but the ref spotted Jay's foot under the bottom rope. Jay finally made the tag, and Mark absolutely cleared house, getting several near falls on Haku. Mark hit a big flying elbow drop on Haku that seemed to have finished him off, but Rikishi was there to break up the pinfall. Jay went for the Jay Driller, but Haku countered, locking in the vicious Tongan Death Grip, choking out Jay and forcing the referee to call for the bell.
Winners: Rikishi and Haku
Tyler Breeze vs Dean Ambrose- Champion vs Champion
The Light Heavyweight Champion took on the United States Champion in this match, and with a title defense against Hideo Itami just days away, Prince Pretty needed the win. Breeze was determined to prove that he could keep up with Ambrose, attempting to start a brawl at the beginning of the match. This proved to be a horrible decision, as Ambrose beat Breeze all over ringside. Breeze did manage to get in some offense, but it wasn't nearly enough, and once they got back into the ring, Breeze ran right into a Dirty Deeds from Ambrose. Breeze showed his fighting spirit, though, kicking out at a count of 2. Breeze fought back into the match, and went for a Supermodel Kick. Ambrose stepped through and went for a second Dirty Deeds, only to be reversed by Breeze into a Beauty Shot. Breeze went for the cover, and, behind the ref's back, got extra leverage using the ropes, which was enough to score Prince Pretty a big win over the US Champion.
Winner: Tyler Breeze
