With just under two weeks to King of the Ring, Raw presents one of the biggest shows of the year. Two more King of the Ring matches, with the field being narrowed down to 4. That's not all- three titles will be on the line. In the opening match, John Cena puts the Intercontinental Title on the line against a "worthy challenger". Chyna defends the Women's Title against Nia Jax, and in the main event, the World Tag Team Titles are on the line, as Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns defend against the former champs, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, with Bray Wyatt banned from ringside.

John Cena(c) vs ????- Intercontinental Title Match
The Intercontinental Champion made his way down to the ring, opening Raw, and who should his challenger be but.........the Voice of the Voiceless, the Best in the World, CM Punk, who lost his match with Stone Cold Steve Austin last week for the number one contendership. Apparently, the Raw GM holds Punk in high regard, and granted him another title shot. Punk took advantage of Cena's shock, getting in a lot of offense in the early going. Cena fought back like always, hitting the Five Knuckle Shuffle and looking for the Attitude Adjustment, but Punk knew the move too well, countering with elbows to the skull. Punk then connected with the GTS, but Cena kicked out at 2. Punk looked for a second GTS to finish Cena off, but Cena countered into the AA, which Punk countered again. Cena, out of it, tried his best to fight back, but Punk was one step ahead, and when the GTS connected for the second time, it was lights out for Cena and his Intercontinental Title reign.
Winner and the NEW Intercontinental Champion: CM Punk
Kane vs Andre the Giant- King of the Ring First Round Match
Two of the biggest men on Raw collided, as the Demon Kane faced Andre the Giant. Andre's strength could not beat Kane's power early on, and Kane brought the crowd to their feet, chokeslaming the giant, but only for a 2 count. Andre nearly put Kane out for the count off a big elbow drop, but it was Kane who kicked out. Eventually, following a monstrous battle, Kane chokeslammed Andre three more times, for good measure, to finally punch his ticket to the next round of King of the Ring.
Winner and advancing in King of the Ring: Kane
Bobby Roode vs Triple H- King of the Ring First Round Match
Triple H, fresh off defeating his tag partner Shawn Michaels two weeks ago, took on relative newcomer Bobby Roode, making his Raw debut. Triple H reportedly though highly of Roode, and was considering taking Roode under his wing and teaching him the ropes of WWE. Roode, an established veteran, took offense to that comment, and took it to Triple H in the early going. A devastating Spinebuster-Pedigree combo from the Game seemed to spell disaster for Roode, but the It Factor shocked Triple H with his kick out. Roode connected on a Spinebuster of his own, before dropping Hunter with a Pay Off, which wasn't quite enough to keep Triple H down. Triple H, back on his feet, looked for another Pedigree several times, but Roode continued to dodge the killing blow. Finally, Triple H lured Roode into a trap, catching him coming back into the ring with the Pedigree for the 3 count. Afterward, Triple H offered his hand to Roode, in a sign of respect, but Roode, still upset, declined.
Winner and advancing in King of the Ring: Triple H
Chyna(c) vs Nia Jax- Women's Title Match
Our second title match of the night saw Chyna defending against Nia Jax. Chyna was able to avoid the brunt of Jax's offense at the start of the match, but it was a short relief. Very quickly, Chyna found herself being thrown all over the ring, and nearly lost the title then and there, but Jax whiffed on the leg drop. Back to her feet, Chyna then dropped Jax with a big DDT, but that didn't keep Nia down for very long. Chyna stayed alive several more times, continuing to dodge the leg drop. When Nia countered the DDT, she carried that momentum forward, hitting a Samoan Drop then lifting Chyna back to her feet before slamming her and finally connecting on the leg drop. The whole arena was shocked as the ref slapped the mat 3 times, and Nia Jax was crowned the new Women's Champion as Chyna's title reign came to an abrupt end.
Winner and the NEW Women's Champion: Nia Jax
Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns(c) vs Harper and Rowan- World Tag Team Title Match
With two new champions crowned already, things were not looking good for the tag team champs. The champs, to the surprise of the crowd, worked well right away, tagging in and out as seeming to be on their best behavior. Roman's willingness to tag out and keep himself fresh played well into the champs' favor, as Rollins capitalized, hitting Harper with a Curb Stomp while Roman easily handled Rowan, but Harper kicked out. The champs continued the strategy of working over Harper, and it really paid off, as they continued to control the match, not allowing Rowan to enter. Harper was unwilling to give up, kicking out of a Phoenix Splash and two Superman Punches, but it was an impressive lifting Spear from Reigns that eventually did the job, as the champs retained their belts. A solid strategy and an excellent execution saw the World Tag Team Champions through to another week.
Winners and still World Tag Team Champions: Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns
I promised a big episode of Raw, and it delivered, with two titles changing hands. Up next: NXT.
