Henry's Universe Mode #49: NXT

This week's episode of NXT has only three matches, but all three are pretty big and have title implications, so it should still be a good show.

Paige(c) vs Sasha Banks- NXT Women's Title Match

Paige dodged Sasha Banks last week, but NXT GM William Regal made her go ahead with the match this week. Paige attempted to play mind games after the bell rung, but Sasha was having none of it and quickly the two women were going at it. Paige proved why she's the NXT Women's Champion, executing a series of knee strikes into a hurricarana followed by a Paige-Turner for a close two count. Sasha fought back and nearly won the title off a big Frog Splash. Paige had the match won off a second Paige-Turner, but her ego got the better of her as she went for the killing blow. Sasha countered and nearly made her pay for it, getting another close two count. The champion fought through, and connected on a Ram-Paige to pull out the victory, proving just how good she really is.

Winner and still NXT Women's Champion: Paige

Pentagon Jr(c) vs EC3- NXT Television Title Match

Pentagor Jr put the NXT TV Title on the line in an interesting match, as he took on the debuting EC3. The cocky challenger was quickly taken down a peg by the battle hardened veteran, as Pentagon Jr seemed to take offense at EC3's mannerisms. Pentagon Jr dominated a majority of the match, The champion looked well on his way to one of the easiest retains he had yet, when EC3 countered a dropkick and caught Pentagon with a One Percenter. The move was sudden and vicious, but the NXT fans were stunned when the ref's hand slapped the mat for the third time. Pentagon Jr had looked unstoppable, but one big move later, EC3 became the new champion, and handed Pentagon Jr his first loss, all while making his debut.

Winner and the NEW NXT Television Champion: EC3

Finn Balor vs AJ Styles vs Hideo Itami vs ???- NXT Title #1 Contender's Match

Our main event was a fatal four way to crown a new number one contender, but Balor, Styles and Itami did not know who the fourth participant would be. The NXT fans were shocked once again when the fourth man in the match was the King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura, as he made his return to NXT. Nakamura immediately went after Balor, looking to take out the former champion, while Styles and Itami fought it out in the ring. AJ and Hideo exchanged a few near falls, neither gaining too much control. AJ, never one for safety, took to the skies to take out the Japanese Sensation, dropping him with a Tope con Hilo. All four men then went at it in the ring, each exchanging near falls and various forms of offense. The end came very quickly after that, when Balor went for the Coup de Grace on Styles, and the Phenomenal One rolled out of the way. He then dropped Balor with a Styles Clash for the victory, and a title shot.

Winner: AJ Styles

AJ Styles is on a tear, and has now earned a title match. When will he get that match? Tune in to find out!

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Henry's Universe Mode #90: Main Event

Tonight on Main Event, it's Cruiserweight Classic Group B action. The talented Rich Swann faces the vicious Drew Gulak, and in the main event the Technical Wizard Zack Sabre Jr takes on Cedric Alexander. Also, it's the debut of one of SmackDown's newest tag teams, The Revival, as they face Raw's Golden Truth. Universe Mode Main Event December 14th, 2016 Location: Greensboro, NC The Revival vs Golden Truth Goldust and R-Truth are talented veterans, but it was Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson that controlled this match. They looked very impressive in their debut, using a slow pace to pick apart the Bizzare One, before finishing him off with a Shatter Machine to pick up a big debut win. Winners: The Revival Rich Swann vs Drew Gulak- Cruiserweight Classic Group B Match This was the classic match up between high flying and technical brilliance, and it was Gulak's slower style that controlled this match. Swann got in his offense whenever he could, hit...
