First off, I've made the decision to cancel Main Event, feeling it was a waste of time. The Light Heavyweight Title will now be defended on the show of it's current champion.
The Raw GM made waves when he signed Raw's second title match for King of the Ring, seeing a rematch between CM Punk and John Cena for the Intercontinental Title. The aforementioned Punk will take on World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt in Raw's main event. Also, two more King of the Ring matches, as we determine who advances to this Sunday's King of the Ring pay-per-view.

Sheamus vs Umaga
A special seventh match was added to King of the Ring, seeing two men who lost unfairly in the tournament as Raw's Sheamus(who was attacked by Kane) and Smackdown's Drew McIntyre(who lost under dubious means) go one on one. The winner will receive a massive prize, as they will fight for their brands world title the night after King of the Ring. Sheamus looked to get in shape for that match, making his Raw debut against Umaga. Sheamus went at Umaga with everything he had, but the Samoan Bulldozer didn't go down easy, taking out Sheamus several times. Umaga even pulled out an impressive chokeslam, but it wasn't quite enough for victory. Sheamus fought back into it, and looked for a count out victory, planting Umaga with a White Noise on the outside. Umaga got back, to Sheamus' chagrin, but the Celtic Warrior finished it off with a Brogue Kick.
Winner: Sheamus
Ricky Steamboat vs Triple H- King of the Ring Quarter-Finals Match
Our first King of the Ring Quarter-Finals Match saw Ricky Steamboat and Triple H square off. This contest matched Steamboat's speed and aerial ability against Triple H's brawling and ferocity. Steamboat had the better of the early going, staying one step ahead of the Game. This quickly changed when Steamboat went to the top rope one too many times, and was caught with a Pedigree, but he showed his heart in kicking out before the three count. Triple H's frustration got the better of him, giving Steamboat an opening, which he took advantage of, hitting a diving crossbody for a two count. You cant't give Triple H a second chance, and Steamboat was flattened with a second Pedigree for the win.
Winner and advancing in King of the Ring: Triple H
Seth Rollins vs Kevin Nash
Kevin Nash, frustrated with his loss in King of the Ring last week, issued a challenge to the tag team champions, wanting a one on one match. Seth Rollins accepted, with the condition that neither tag partner was allowed at ringside, which the Outsiders instantly violated, as Scott Hall accompanied his Nash to the ring. Rollins was quickly outmatched, facing two men at the same time. Despite this, he refused to give up, bringing the crowd to their feet with he put Kevin Nash through the announce table with a flying elbow. A timely distraction from Scott Hall saw Nash use the numbers game to his advantage, decimating Rollins with a Jacknife Powerbomb on the concrete floor. Try as he might, Rollins couldn't get back to his feet, and Nash took the easy way out, getting the count-out victory.
Winner: Kevin Nash
Ryback vs Kane- King of the Ring Quarter-Finals Match
Both of these men were on destructive tears entering this match, and you could've assumed this would be a highly competitive match. You'd be wrong, as Kane completely dominated from the moment the bell rang. Aside from some slight offense from Ryback, Kane just beat the living tar out of the Big Guy. One chokeslam later, and it was all over for Ryback, in what was a shockingly quick contest.
Winner and advancing in King of the Ring: Kane
Bray Wyatt vs CM Punk- Champion vs Champion Match
With both champions facing big challenges at King of the Ring(Wyatt against Austin, and Punk against Cena) this was a very important match to both champions. The two wrestled a fine match, with a lot of traded offense. Punk proved his superiority in the speed game, while Wyatt overpowered the Intercontinental Champion at every turn. A turning point came when Punk caught Wyatt with a big dropkick, then was successful on the GTS, only to see Wyatt kick out milliseconds before the three count. Wyatt, back on his feet, then connected on Sister Abigail, and it was Punk who found the strength to kick out. The two brawled back and forth, neither willing to give ground. Punk seemed to have won it, out maneuvering Wyatt and catching him with a second GTS, but Wyatt got to the bottom rope to break the pin. Punk saw his life flash before his eyes, just dodging a second Sister Abigail from the World Heavyweight Champion, and then locked Wyatt in the Anaconda Vise, right in the center of the ring. The submission hold was locked in for what seemed like hours, but finally Wyatt, worn down, conceded defeat and tapped out.
Winner: CM Punk
Raw's champion, Bray Wyatt, fought a great match but came up just a bit short. After the match, it was revealed that Wyatt had suffered a minor concussion, but was ready to defend his title at King of the Ring. With the health of Wyatt potentially in jeopardy, can Stone Cold Steve Austin finally dethrone Universe Mode's longest reigning champion? Can John Cena reclaim his Intercontinental Title? How will be crowned King of the Ring, and will he be from the Raw brand? All of these questions will be answered, this Sunday at King of the Ring.
