The Dog League: Week 4 Review(2017 Season)

The first quarter of the season came to an end this past week, and boy was it a week to behold. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Leaping Girl

It was certainly the dawn of a new day in the Dog League for Leaping Girl last week, as Emma finally collected her first win of the season. Big days from Drew Brees, DeAndre Hopkins and Seahawks defense carried her to her first win over the Ridiculous Rascals, but it was not without its drawbacks. Namely, the injuries to running backs Ty Montgomery and Dalvin Cook. Emma will certainly have some big decisions to make going forward.

Week 4 Scoring(won against Ridiculous Rascals 98.62-86.98)

QB Drew Brees(19.02 points)
RB LeSean McCoy(10.8 points)
RB Ty Montgomery(2.8 points)
WR Dez Bryant(9.8 points)
WR DeAndre Hopkins(16.7 points)
TE Delanie Walker(5.1 points)
RB Dalvin Cook(11.4 points)
K Justin Tucker(3 points)
DEF Seattle Seahawks(20 points)

Tailwaggerz

Another big week from Tailwaggerz saw the near impossible take place, as they became the first team to topple the mighty Tug of War, continuing a two game winning streak. Points came from everywhere this week, with multiple players scoring in double digits, with the highlight being the performance of Le'Veon Bell. In fact, only two players(Zach Ertz and Stefon Diggs) finished in single digits, a sign of just how good this team was.

Week 4 Scoring(won against Tug of War 143.58-121.96)

QB Tom Brady(20.48 points)
RB Le'Veon Bell(30.6 points)
RB C.J. Anderson(11.2 points)
WR Jordy Nelson(19.5 points)
WR Stefon Diggs(9.8 points)
TE Zach Ertz(8.1 points)
WR Michael Thomas(14.9 points)
K Stephen Gostkowski(14 points)
DEF Jacksonville Jaguars(15 points)

Ridiculous Rascals

While the final score may have been close for the Ridiculous Rascals, the truth is that most of the team failed to get out of the starting blocks. In the inverse of Tailwaggerz, only two players got out of single digits, those being fellow Cowboys Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. The bench doesn't really look promising either, and despite winning their first two games, the Rascals look to be in some big trouble.

Week 4 Scoring(lost to Leaping Girl 86.98-98.62)

QB Dak Prescott(22.58 points)
RB Melvin Gordon(2.9 points)
RB Ezekiel Elliott(25.9 points)
WR Odell Beckham(9 points)
WR Brandin Cooks(4.2 points)
TE Rob Gronkowski(8 points)
RB Jay Ajayi(5.4 points)
K Matt Bryant(5 points)
DEF Philadelphia Eagles(4 points)

Tug of War

The winning had to end eventually for Tug of War, and they fought all the way to the end. Losing receiver Julio Jones early on didn't help, and neither did an indifferent performance from Antonio Brown. On the flip side, running backs Todd Gurley and Leonard Fournette carried the load, combining for almost 50 points. In the end, it just wasn't to be for Tug of War.

Week 4 Scoring(lost to Tailwaggerz 121.96-143.58)

QB Aaron Rodgers(23.06 points)
RB Todd Gurley(27.5 points)
RB Kareem Hunt(12.1 points)
WR Julio Jones(3 points)
WR Antonio Brown(3.4 points)
TE Travis Kelce(17.4 points)
RB Leonard Fournette(20.5 points)
K Dan Bailey(6 points)
DEF Kansas City Chiefs(9 points)

All good things must come to an end, and there are no more undefeated teams in the Dog League. What's next for these teams? Check out the Week 5 preview, releasing tomorrow.

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Henry's Universe Mode #231: WrestleMania II (Part 3)

Finn Balor vs The Undertaker Finn Balor felt the full force of the strikes of The Undertaker in the early going, eating rights and lefts to the skull. The Undertaker continued to lay into Balor, dumping him to the floor with a clothesline, then following up with his vintage suicide dive! After a brief skirmish on the outside, the Deadman got destructive, grabbing the Demon's throat and driving him through the announce table with a chokeslam! It was here that The Undertaker allowed Finn Balor a chance to just give up and concede defeat, but Balor wasn't having any of it. Finn got his second wind, countering an attempted chokeslam to connect with a reverse DDT, then the shotgun dropkick in the corner. Up top, Finn connected with Coup de Grace! 1........................2.......................but it's going to take a lot more to put The Undertaker away, especially at WrestleMania. Balor laid in some shots, busting The Undertaker open, but that proved to be a huge mistake. ...
