The Dog League: Week 5 Preview(2017 Season)

Week 5 of the Dog League is about to get underway, and with plenty of injuries and bye weeks to go around, it could be a very interesting week. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Leaping Girl

To start off, Emma had a big decision to make, with running back Dalvin Cook out for the season. She activated Option C, bringing in Latavius Murray as his replacement. With Drew Brees out on bye this week, she also brought in rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson, who will make his first Dog League appearance on Sunday Night. DeMarco Murray also moves up in the world, as he returns to the starting line-up in place of the banged up Ty Montgomery. T.Y. Hilton will also start this week, as he has a favorable match-up against the 49ers.

Week 5 Starting Line-Up(vs Tug of War)

QB Deshaun Watson
RB LeSean McCoy
RB DeMarco Murray
WR Dez Bryant
WR DeAndre Hopkins
TE Delanie Walker
WR T.Y. Hilton
K Justin Tucker
DEF Seattle Seahawks

Tailwaggerz

With Michael Thomas and C.J. Anderson on bye this week, moves were in store for Tailwaggerz. Mike Evans and Lamar Miller both re-joined the starting line-up, as Jordan Howard is once more left on the bench. The Jaguars defense, with a rough week in store against the Steelers, were outed in favor of the Ravens defense, who go up against a Raiders team missing Derek Carr. In a minor move, struggling tight end Coby Fleener was dropped in favor of Frank Gore.

Week 5 Starting Line-Up(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Tom Brady
RB Lamar Miller
RB Le'Veon Bell
WR Jordy Nelson
WR Mike Evans
TE Zach Ertz
WR Stefon Diggs
K Stephen Gostkowski
DEF Baltimore Ravens

Ridiculous Rascals

The talent level is most certainly there for the Ridiculous Rascals, it's just a matter of getting the players to perform at their best. With that in mind, there were no line-up changes this week, although there were two waiver moves made. Injured quarterback Derek Carr makes his leave, with Rascal getting a hell of a talent back in the form of Russell Wilson. With concerns circulating about the health of Rob Gronkowski, another Raiders player was dropped, this time Michael Crabtree, in exchange for Charles Clay. Finally, with Matt Bryant out on bye, Kai Forbath was brought in to fill the kicker spot on Monday Night.

EDIT: with the news that Rob Gronkowski is likely out tonight against the Buccaneers, Clay will take his spot in the line-up.

Week 5 Starting Line-Up(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Dak Prescott
RB Melvin Gordon
RB Ezekiel Elliott
WR Odell Beckham
WR Brandin Cooks
TE Charles Clay
RB Jay Ajayi
K Kai Forbath
DEF Philadelphia Eagles

Tug of War

There have to be some concerns in the Tug of War camp this week, coming off of their first loss against the Tailwaggerz. While we will have to wait for the weekend to see how it all turns out, if Tug of War is to rebound, they will be forced to do it without wide receiver Julio Jones. In his place comes A.J. Green, who may have a poor match-up against the Bills, but has played well this year. The Chiefs defense, beyond the occasional wild late game touchdown, are not really putting up great numbers, and were dropped for the Vikings defense, who will look to beat up rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and the Chicago Bears on Monday Night.

Week 5 Starting Line-Up(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Aaron Rodgers
RB Todd Gurley
RB Kareem Hunt
WR A.J. Green
WR Antonio Brown
TE Travis Kelce
RB Leonard Fournette
K Dan Bailey
DEF Minnesota Vikings

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Henry's Universe Mode #90: Main Event

Tonight on Main Event, it's Cruiserweight Classic Group B action. The talented Rich Swann faces the vicious Drew Gulak, and in the main event the Technical Wizard Zack Sabre Jr takes on Cedric Alexander. Also, it's the debut of one of SmackDown's newest tag teams, The Revival, as they face Raw's Golden Truth. Universe Mode Main Event December 14th, 2016 Location: Greensboro, NC The Revival vs Golden Truth Goldust and R-Truth are talented veterans, but it was Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson that controlled this match. They looked very impressive in their debut, using a slow pace to pick apart the Bizzare One, before finishing him off with a Shatter Machine to pick up a big debut win. Winners: The Revival Rich Swann vs Drew Gulak- Cruiserweight Classic Group B Match This was the classic match up between high flying and technical brilliance, and it was Gulak's slower style that controlled this match. Swann got in his offense whenever he could, hit...
