The Dog League: Week 8 Preview(2017 Season)

You can find the Week 7 Review here. (Reminder: the Dog League is a custom fantasy football league run on NFL.com)

Leaping Girl

It's been a tough two weeks for Emma, as after failing to get four yards to topple the Tailwaggerz, she played well against Rascal, who still beat her quite easily. It doesn't get any easier against Tug of War this week, but she does bring in a strong line-up. Emma made one waiver move this week, acquiring Doug Martin for Ty Montgomery. She brought the Seahawks defense into her line-up, but perhaps her most interesting moves were the ones she didn't make, as she chose not to start Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins against her defense.

Week 8 Starting Line-Up(vs Tug of War)

QB Drew Brees
RB LeSean McCoy
RB Doug Martin
WR Dez Bryant
WR Chris Hogan
TE Jimmy Graham
WR T.Y. Hilton
K Justin Tucker
DEF Seattle Seahawks

Tailwaggerz

After losing out to Tug of War last week and putting up a general poor performance, Tailwaggerz will look to rebound this week, but face the first place Ridiculous Rascals. They will start Doug Baldwin this week, coming off of a great game, for the on-bye Jordy Nelson. Plus, it's a welcome back to the Dog League for the Eagles defense, as they replaced the Baltimore Ravens.

Week 8 Starting Line-Up(vs Ridiculous Rascals)

QB Tom Brady
RB Le'Veon Bell
RB Jordan Howard
WR Doug Baldwin
WR Mike Evans
TE Zach Ertz
WR Michael Thomas
K Stephen Gostkowski
DEF Philadelphia Eagles

Tug of War

Another week in second place for Tug of War, but are coming off a nice win, rebounding from their three-game skid. Their line-up is filled with big players in good match-ups, and they seem set for another big week. They were forced to replace Todd Gurley, with A.J. Green entering the starting line-up, as Devonta Freeman vacates the flex spot. One waiver move was made, but it was relatively minor, as Jarvis Landry returned to the team for Terrelle Pryor.

Week 8 Starting Line-Up(vs Leaping Girl)

QB Matt Ryan
RB Devonta Freeman
RB Kareem Hunt
WR Julio Jones
WR Antonio Brown
TE Travis Kelce
WR A.J. Green
K Harrison Butker
DEF Minnesota Vikings

Ridiculous Rascals

Rascal defended his top spot last week, setting down his sister on the way to a huge day. Coming off of that, for one of the first times all season, he will make no moves this week, as the line-up is all set and ready to go.

Week 8 Starting Line-Up(vs Tailwaggerz)

QB Dak Prescott
RB Melvin Gordon
RB Ezekiel Elliott
WR Brandin Cooks
WR Tyreek Hill
TE Rob Gronkowski
RB Mark Ingram
K Kai Forbath
DEF New Orleans Saints

South Park "Not Funny" Review

Good night, amateur trolls that trolled a troll and trolled themselves into a troll, brothers. With one episode to go in the season, South Park has remained consistently funny and on-point with their humor, though I worry about how their going to wrap all of this up. There are a good six to seven ongoing storylines right now, and only one episode to finish off a few of them. There was no clear focus this week, but I'll start where the episode ended, with Gerald's troll-based storyline. It's pretty satisfying to see the Troll Hunter's massive revelation; that he is, in fact, just another troll, bent on world destruction. Even Gerald couldn't find the humor in his master plan, as the Troll Hunter is truly in a league of his own. With the world on the brink of war, the trolling has truly begun, as the Troll Hunter went to work on his own employees and the other trolls, though why they had to be naked for that is beyond me. Kyle is always a sucker for saving the ...

Henry's Universe Mode #90: Main Event

Tonight on Main Event, it's Cruiserweight Classic Group B action. The talented Rich Swann faces the vicious Drew Gulak, and in the main event the Technical Wizard Zack Sabre Jr takes on Cedric Alexander. Also, it's the debut of one of SmackDown's newest tag teams, The Revival, as they face Raw's Golden Truth. Universe Mode Main Event December 14th, 2016 Location: Greensboro, NC The Revival vs Golden Truth Goldust and R-Truth are talented veterans, but it was Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson that controlled this match. They looked very impressive in their debut, using a slow pace to pick apart the Bizzare One, before finishing him off with a Shatter Machine to pick up a big debut win. Winners: The Revival Rich Swann vs Drew Gulak- Cruiserweight Classic Group B Match This was the classic match up between high flying and technical brilliance, and it was Gulak's slower style that controlled this match. Swann got in his offense whenever he could, hit...
